If on the other hand, Asamoah Djan has acquired this ridiculous Rolls Royce car only just to make a statement of proof of his obvious wealth and success, he should not bother because we all already know that he is fabulously rich to the extent that he can probably acquire any other material toy that rich - but little-minded people in more advanced countries normally acquire to enhance their small egos.

If this story is true, then Asamoah Djan has disappointed me. By this silly act, he has only just managed to prove that he is an intellectual midget who, like other equally rich sportsmen before him, will crash land sooner than later because they become drunk and foolish with the loads of money that have come their way.

Even though Asamoah has the right to use his money as he pleases, using a Rolls Royce in the midst of the terrible poverty all around us exposes a mark of immaturity and spite in Asamoah. This act of greed, selfishness and immaturity is something that white people do in their desire just to always prove that they are superior - either as individuals or collectively as a race.

I wish Asamoah Djan had a more serious and sensible manager who can advise him how to better enjoy and manage his wealth so that at the end of the day, Asamoah Djan would become an all-time legend in Ghana and Africa and also serve as a role-model of modesty and humility for coming generations.

Fortunately for me, I have no god-damned reason to show-off to the people of this country who are so dumb that our govts import even tooth-picks and matches from abroad. Whats the need of showing-off to such people?

And then again, there is nothing technically superior that a Rolls can boast of that other reasonably good cars dont have. Today there are small urban cars being produced in Asian countries that are equipped with all sorts of fantastic gizmos that even the once almighty Rolls Royce cannot boast of.

Those days when Rolls Royce was a propaganda piece for presumed western technical superiority are long gone, buried and past. The name Rolls Royce brings to mind, a retired prostitute who has long lost her luster.

Why should he show off again? He is known all over the world. I am not hating, just envying. Gyan is a bless joy to Ghana and family. If I am him, I will always dress casual while in Ghana. He got nothing to proof, because his career and dreams has come through in a stye beyond presidents. He still can enrol in school for MBA at the age 30 to add academics for Ghana's highest office with money to spend. I dreamt these things to help Ghana, but I could not achieve them. My heart and ming wanted that, but could not. You have it, and don't want to.

Most of these guys who has money are not sharp in someway. We are drawing attentions for them to see things other way for the sake of our nation. The western or advance countries do not became what we witness all because of government. The days of government importance in Ghana was the time of Kwame Nkrumah, when the country was new under African. Private initiations also plays important role, coming from any source of income. Soccer players are typical examples. He has the right to ignore all the suggestions. There are all sorts of people of Ghana, who might have the monies, but do not know what to do with it. These forum discussions opens eyes and minds for them to seek alternatives. The country need businesses to improve herself for sectors to be in operation. Well this voluntory contributions are all that I have. Redemption song.
