  The guy can't make Bournemouth first team and you are surprised he is not on the CAF Award list. Surely, you can't be serious. He did not cut it with Chelsea, did not sustain his first team place with Everton and can't even get to play at Bournemouth. He should have stayed at Porto. Wilfred Bony is not even on the list and he is a far better player than Atsu.

  Akunnor can't be serious. How can a player who can't secure a place in a club like Bournemouth be shortlisted as best African player? Akunnor should know that a month's perfect tournament can't make him the best player as one swallow doesn't make a summer. Sometimes we have to be objective if even he is one of ours.
