Thieves and con men will want positions of importance and democracy will also give that to them .When thieves and con artists finally democratically gain power as criminals and evil men have a urge always to gain power we will have a tyranny worse than any monarchy or oligarchy unquote. This all evident in the pndc /ndc govt today including the perverse leanings towards inter-gender role exchanges and promotion of homosexuality.Thus Winston Churchill said that democracy is the "worst form of government," just better than all the others. the problem Plato has with democracy in the Republic is not the absence of the rule of law but just the fact that the wrong people are in power-people without the proper virtues or integrity.Development pepeni omanhene says is unequaled on his watch, and i ask what is the meaning? Is it the total uselessness , or insignificance , level of plaigatory theft of projects, corruption kick backs or the benefits his kleptomaniac brothers and cronies have acquired , the level of prejudice of against anything that can benefit Akan areas or people . Pepeni has borrowed and created more debt than all the previous presidents before him combined including Nkrumah yet we dont see any results such as the attempts of raising any basic or primary industry to add some value to our natural resources before export that creates jobs for millions as Nkrumah and all presidents except for pepeni and JJ tried to. What is unequaled is the billions that have been siphoned out of the country mainly to Islamic destinations like Iran , Dubai and Turkey. He boasts about the nonexistent 200 schools yet forgets over a century ago Akans mainly Fantes built schools that today would each cost no less than 20 million each. He offers markets and toilets as if the local community could not do so themselves if the taxes and various levies collected in those areas remained there. But no pepeni/ayigbe must chop bribe together with their Gas Adas and other satellite allies against the Akans. A govt whose members are selected not based on competence but their level of hate or prejudice against the Akan majority or the family blood ties to pepeni mahama can never serve anybody except their selfish selves and will always fail. The success or failure of any business , govt or social enterprise is determined by the personnel or cadre who execute the defined goals. In our case we need a govt selected based on merit and experience to get us out of this vicious circle of poverty and bad luck , so i would expect to see at least 3 investment bankers , 4 engineers , 2 macro economists and one doctor of project management and that govt with people of integrity will surely have results in less than a year. Competent Ghanaian all decline to associate themselves with NDC and their corruption driven govt.Pepeni went to mislead the chiefs to use festivals to promote market and project development but omitted to tell them no project has made it through the finance ministry without paying an arm and a leg in bribes , talk less of the cabinet or parliamentary committees. Mafias dont need economists or bankers but rather opt for book keepers or accountants like we see in our minister of finance being shadowed spied and watched by pepeni's cousin chief director Alajih Major Tara. Look at former minister of state for development now minister of science technology with his dentist of army qualification Alajih Dr Mustafa Ahmed and tell me he is capable of contributing something good except positioning himself to collect bribes. None of this will ever end up in Ghanian media or newspapers as NDC ( mainly Ga /Ada) activists now holding national security id s go around intimidating the journalists ,editors and owners of these establishments. We know the motive for these useless utterances by pepeni as his strategy ids to hoodwink the people into believing so much has been done for development , with roads , schools etc but notice there is no railway , no health services with modern ambulances including helicopters , fire services lack fighting water tank planes or helicopters talk less of specialized fire fighting equipment as not all will pay bribes , no initiation of any strategically important industry . Just get ready for the whirlwind of propaganda and lies saying the empty projects with no direction is what we couldn't do ourselves so they did. No self respecting intellectual worth his wait will throw pearls of wisdom before this pepeni/ayigbe swine . These idiotic ndc will always blame the Akans privately or npp publicly for making them fail or the country ungovernable but in reality they just don't know how , jj failed and so will they in their tribalistic hegemony. Yes rig the elections a thousand times and each time you will fail abysmally .Let them continue to adorn themselves with vainglorious titles of esteem or positions of influence and power but as the coat doesn't make the man so all this will eventually end up in their own failure and misery BULLSHIT GALORE

I knew financial academic genius who could not managed their finances to their death. I also know people, who could not read and write, yet managed their finances beyond understandings. In asmuch as we need all these examples in economics or total gross upkeeping of a nation, individually and nationally, perstective to categories in our national input and outputs should be giving to minds and hearts of our people in schools, televisions and national education programms whereever ears and attentions could assembled. We need common reasoning or sense in thinking for the nation to be propelled into her sustainability.
How come our young generations with monies always thinking about expensive toys or vehicle, instead of directing those monies to things that would grow them worth for today and future generation?

or in Corporations. In the case of those who claimed to have studied abroad, the University can in cooperation with the Embassy of the country where the persons claim to have studied to send their Degrees or Certificates to the respective Institutions in that country and you
be surprised that the response shall come outright. In a Germany for example, all those who have gained Degrees or got Certificates are registered in a Computer Data in the Institution and this can easily be verified within seconds. It is the same in the United States, Canada as well as in other European Countries like Britain. I was shocked to know that some politicians in the NDC who never attended a higher a Education in Europe and in the United States but were only PIZZA Sellers or Taxi Drivers are claiming to have a completed a higher Education and nobody challenges them. Since these people do no have the necessary Qualifications, their performances are zero and they are detrimental to the economic development of the country.

It's not a new phenomenon. It is just that the situation has grown worse with time.

In these days what else can we expect when respectable NDC politicians are leading the way, even plagiarizing their course work at the UG.

As a Christian lad, I grew up under this notion of "Thou shalt not kill", but having grown up now has an adult, I hold a strong position that if I have my way like Mr. Rawlings did way back in 1979, killing the Generals, I'll shoot every culprit straight in the face to get rid of the rotten eggs and undesirables in our beloved country.

The system we so cherish has been nothing but one that cherishes classroom educated paper tigers; we never wanted competence nor wisdom. In today's Ghana college/university post graduate masters degree comes a dime a dozen yet most of the people are empty heads. Businesses and government institutions fail to interview or dig deeper behind the facade and thus crooks bluff their way into positions of power and into employment. In the meantime the honest people in society suffer in silence. How did it come universities cannot get results from the exams council directly? In our days it was WAEC that sent results to institutions based on our colleges and or preferred secondary school choices. Ghana has become rotten because we have rotten people at the head, from all 3 branches of government to the lowest man on the totem pole. We have prostitutes and pimps patrolling halls in our universities and colleges and classroom educated morons running offices of power based on political initiatives of tribal and political preferences. We must shut up and enjoy because nothing else will do.

Dishonesty does not only refer to wrong certification to misrepresent a position which one does not entitled to it based on broad spectrum of different things ie bribery where most people bribe their way to the top with less credential for a particular position. It is a trent that has witheld Ghana from moving forward to prosperity. We all saw and read about a female minister in an NDC Government who chose to reside in a top class hotel with the expentiture hitting high while majority of Ghanaians could not afford a days meal and live up to expectation and so forth and so on spreading through every length and breath of the country and the question is why and how can a country move forward if most appointed leaders in a specific posision and totally dishonest and unpatriotic in their dealings with their own citizens. This people are thick and careless whether the country win or fail all they want is themselves and their family because they say afterall they are not the first and wont be the last but what most of this people fail to understand is that we can all pick it up from ruins and re establish it significantly up to a reasonable level for the benefit of all Ghanaians. I suppose there should be tougher sentence against anyone caught up in the act of dishonesty neither be it Government position nor any other positions entrusted to their care. Yes Ghana,s democracy is growing but not fully matured, yes Ghana is moving towards attracting investment from the international community, yes Ghana is serving an example as the most peaceful and stable country in Africa but there is only one thing and that is the need to be loyal and patriotic within the establishment involving the police, the army, the civil service, the judiciary and elsewhere throughout the country and failure to address this trend could end up in a catastrophic and cataclysmic consequence.
