Who sponsored Anas' expose
University graduates in Ghana are very useless. The way and manner intellectuals and academicians in Ghana were falling head-over-heels in condemning the judges and praising Anas really surprised me. I am just a mere polytechnic graduates yet I was able to read in-between the lines to know that the Government of Ghana was solidly behind the Anas expose – this is something I shared on this platform some time ago but nobody realized it. The lightning speed with which the Attorney General’s Office granted immunity to Anas, the heavily armed military and police guards protecting Anas and the impunity and boldness with which the Accra International Conference Center, AICC (a state institution) disregarded a court injunction placed on the premiering of the Anas expose in their facility all point to the fact that there is an active state participation in this episode in order to shield the incompetence of the Mahama and NDC administration from public view.
The little knowledge I have about Stalinism, Machiavellian principles, the workings of the KGB and the NKVD of the former USSR and the communist intelligence systems of China and Cuba tells me that Mahama is dissipating the resources of our great country on espionage and that is why we are suffering as a country. Now that the state sponsorship of the Anas expose has emerged, have we taken time to know the foreign actors involved in this expose and how much they have bagged?

Afoko agitated against the Union Government idea during the regime of General Ignatius Kutu Acheampong in the 1970s as well as against the overthrow of Dr. Hilla Limann by J.J. Rawlings in the 1980s. He was jailed by the PNDC for his agitations but managed to escape to the United Kingdom where he stayed in exile for a number of years before returning to Ghana in 2000.
During the 2007 contest to select NPP's candidate for the Ghanaian Presidency, Afoko was ushered out of NPP congress grounds in the University of Ghana by the police after he was attacked by others and accused ally of Alan Kyeremanteng, one of he contestants and was further accused of sharing money to delegates.[4][5]
Afoko campaigned for and won the NPP party chairmanship in April 2014.

Is it the total uselessness , or insignificance , level of plaigatory theft of projects, corruption kick backs or the benefits his kleptomaniac brothers and cronies have acquired , the level of prejudice of against anything that can benefit Akan areas or people . Pepeni has borrowed and created more debt than all the previous presidents before him combined including Nkrumah yet we dont see any results such as the attempts of raising any basic or primary industry to add some value to our natural resources before export that creates jobs for millions as Nkrumah and all presidents except for pepeni and JJ tried to. What is unequaled is the billions that have been siphoned out of the country mainly to Islamic destinations like Iran , Dubai and Turkey. He boasts about the nonexistent 200 schools yet forgets over a century ago Akans mainly Fantes built schools that today would each cost no less than 20 million each. He offers markets and toilets as if the local community could not do so themselves if the taxes and various levies collected in those areas remained there. But no pepeni/ayigbe must chop bribe together with their Gas Adas and other satellite allies against the Akans. A govt whose members are selected not based on competence but their level of hate or prejudice against the Akan majority or the family blood ties to pepeni mahama can never serve anybody except their selfish selves and will always fail. The success or failure of any business , govt or social enterprise is determined by the personnel or cadre who execute the defined goals. In our case we need a govt selected based on merit and experience to get us out of this vicious circle of poverty and bad luck , so i would expect to see at least 3 investment bankers , 4 engineers , 2 macro economists and one doctor of project management and that govt with people of integrity will surely have results in less than a year. Competent Ghanaian all decline to associate themselves with NDC and their corruption driven govt.Pepeni went to mislead the chiefs to use festivals to promote market and project development but omitted to tell them no project has made it through the finance ministry without paying an arm and a leg in bribes , talk less of the cabinet or parliamentary committees. Mafias dont need economists or bankers but rather opt for book keepers or accountants like we see in our minister of finance being shadowed spied and watched by pepeni's cousin chief director Alajih Major Tara. Look at former minister of state for development now minister of science technology with his dentist of army qualification Alajih Dr Mustafa Ahmed and tell me he is capable of contributing something good except positioning himself to collect bribes. None of this will ever end up in Ghanian media or newspapers as NDC ( mainly Ga /Ada) activists now holding national security id s go around intimidating the journalists ,editors and owners of these establishments. We know the motive for these useless utterances by pepeni as his strategy ids to hoodwink the people into believing so much has been done for development , with roads , schools etc but notice there is no railway , no health services with modern ambulances including helicopters , fire services lack fighting water tank planes or helicopters talk less of specialized fire fighting equipment as not all will pay bribes , no initiation of any strategically important industry . Just get ready for the whirlwind of propaganda and lies saying the empty projects with no direction is what we couldn't do ourselves so they did. No self respecting intellectual worth his wait will throw pearls of wisdom before this pepeni/ayigbe swine . These idiotic ndc will always blame the Akans privately or npp publicly for making them fail or the country ungovernable but in reality they just don't know how , jj failed and so will they in their tribalistic hegemony. Yes rig the elections a thousand times and each time you will fail abysmally .Let them continue to adorn themselves with vainglorious titles of esteem or positions of influence and power but as the coat doesn't make the man so all this will eventually end up in their own failure and misery BULLSHIT GALORE

Govt must accept useful Minority suggestions - Addo-Kufuor

Kumasi, April 26, GNA - Dr. Kwame Addo-Kufuor, MP for Manhyia, on Tuesday called on the government to accept useful suggestions from the opposition.

He noted that the billions of cedis and energy wasted on the single National Health Insurance Scheme could have been saved if the government had not brushed aside the Minority's suggestion in 1997 that such a scheme was not viable.

Dr. Addo-Kufuor, who is also the Minority Spokesman on Health, was reacting to the admission by Dr. Moses Adibo, Deputy Minister of Health, that the scheme has been found to be not feasible.

He said the position of the Minority, which has now been vindicated, is that in view of the high dependency ratio, high levels of unemployment and large percentage of people living below the poverty line, it is more appropriate to encourage private insurance schemes.

The MP said communities, religious bodies, employers, associations and workers' groups should be encouraged to set up their own insurance schemes as being done at Nkoranza and elsewhere in the country.

The government's role, he pointed out, should be limited to monitoring, regulating and supervising those schemes when they are in place. Apart from the health insurance scheme, the Minority also suggested useful ways of improving the "Cash and Carry" system to give it a human face and the exemption of paupers from payment of medical fees.

He repeated that accident, obstetric complications, paediatric and emergency surgical cases must be seen by doctors straight away without discussing money.

The MP called for the setting up of exemption committees in all districts to ensure transparency in the operation of the exemption system, adding that the system as it is now being operated lends itself to corruption.

He has changed a democratic party to an autocratic party and now all structures within the party kowtow to his wishes. If Nana Addo cannot work with just two individuals who did not support him at the primaries and has therefore decided to use illegal means to remove them, how is he going to deal with the over million NDC people. Ghanaian should not make a mistake in 2016 by voting for Nana Addo because he is not competent to lead a diverse country like Ghana. Nana Addo is autocratic and his integrity has been questioned since 1977 about his legal certificate and how he became a lawyer. Nana Addo is not trustworthy to be in charge of ghana resources because he proclaim to be Saint when it comes to coruption but his actions and inactions prove otherwise. If he is not corrupt, how would he had supported Freddie Blay to siphoned over 5m cedis to a secret account without the knowledge of the party chairman. Akuffo Addo is a failure who failed 12 yearsas MP and a minister of state witout a achievement. He has blame everyone for his failure - he has Alan, Otumfoo, Kufour, Afari-Djan, Atuguba, Arthur K, Nyaho and etc. Nana leave the scene for Bawuamia or Alan because you don't have the credentials to be a president.

Ken, I think you got it all wrong. When a presidential candidate has 94% following, you cannot rightly claim, there are various factions within the party. There are however, a few persons within the party, who for reasons of their own, have decided not to play fair. The crux of the on going problem within the NPP is a much bigger one. An organization with limitless funds and wider reach in political chicanery, have corrupted may be, two or three key officers of the NPP. These officers are the cause of NPP problems, which commenced immediately they were elected into the party executive positions. Just count the negative decisions of Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong after Tamale and you will be left in doubt, how the game has played. The NPP must get them out and free itself from bad company. Please, do not let Nana Akufo Addo into the fray. The party structure is solid enough to deal with the matter at hand.

Professor Ken Attafuah seems to be an exception to the clique of Professors who have been ignoring the facts underlying the NPP long-running chaos to sing praises of the Party's Flagbearer and blaming everybody else for the Party's current predicament.

He is precisely correct, and by this comment has exposed the reality that Akufo-Addo has done next to nothing in bridging the feuding factions in NPP.

What Ken has asked for is exactly what many others have called for since the beginning of hostilities between the 'warring' factions, but only earned the scorn and unspeakable insults by the Akufo-Addo machinery.

Ken's appeal presupposes that the NPP Flagbearer has really never committed himself to leading the Party to have internal Peace and Unity. And that is precisely correct!!

The problem, though, is that Akufo-Addo does not seem to have any affinity for such Peace, and is wired to cherish divisiveness in gaining his ambition. He has atrociously resorted to deafening silence in many instances of violence in the Party, he has often remained stone-cold passive to the wranglings that culminate in larger pitfalls in the Party. He would take off and leave for overseas whenever trouble is heating up to a crisis point. One only has to check the record to see how often Akufo-Addo is reported to have been outside the Country when something most horrible occurs in the NPP. The Murder of Adams, the Talensi bi-election chaos, the illicit re-opening of retired Bank Accounts by the Abankwa Yeboah and Freddie Blay duo, the suspension of Afoko, and, now, the last Friday Murder Ken is just referring to.

How could that all be mere coincidences? Could that not be reasonably thought of as the Flagbearer knowing exactly what were in the offing and simply wanted to leave to create the impression that he never was aware of what were coming? Hmmm!!!!!!! A word to the wise enough.

I wish it were not too late for such an honest and dedicated intervention by Akufo-Addo to save not only the NPP but also his own dreams to become the next President of Ghana.

My strong feeling is that the NPP Flagbearer would 'piss' on this cogent advice by the very esteemed honest Professor, Ken Attafuah, and at best, only pretend to be heeding that advice, while he silently prods his minions to keep up their diabolical plans intact.
