  Readers should note how the media is trying the twist what Martin Amidu said. He did not say government SPONSORED the investigation. Martin Amidu said government COMMISSIONED the investigation under the Mills led government.
  
  To commission is the act of committing or entrusting a person, group, etc., with supervisory power or authority. Of course, you cannot investigate the civil or public service with an authority allowing that to happen.
  
  To sponsor is to provide funds for (a project or activity or the person carrying it out). Or to introduce. and supports a proposal for legislation. Amidu is not claiming this!
  Get the difference and don't let the media mislead you.
  
  so Abdul Malik Kweku Baako and Martin Amidu have not contradicted each other.
  
  I think the media is trying to plant a controversy that does not exist.

  I think I now understand the reason why the police embarked on the DV hunt in Accra and tema respectively,could they be looking for a retirement package for the former IGP Alhassan Ahmed?i am saying this because they released all the arrested vehicles and it still on our roads,this must be investigated because I don't understand that whole exercise, they claimed it was being misused and also arm robbers use it,but the question I ask is re importers driving it to our garage and taking for valuations at the STC and DVLA constitute a crime also?because the arrest was general and whoever was arrested had to pay irrespective of who was using it and the reason for moving the cars or trucks.why re we doing this to ourselves?day in and out we as car dealers move our vehicles for clients inspections including the above mentioned places,we re the people who pay taxes to the last peswas before you take it from the port and upon all this they don't car about our businesses and how we survive but use all dubious means to extort money from us.I challenge the police to come again and also tell us if the use of try plate and arm robbery has stop after that fruitless operations.
