This President Mahama guy is worst than John Agyekum Kufuor. The Constitution of Ghana gives the Presidency all the executive powers, but all they do is abuse it. Today Mahama is at someone's birthday party, tomorrow he is touring the Volta Region, the next day he is attending someone's anniversary.

When does Mahama find time to do his executive duties? There are a lot of issues facing the country - dumsor, youth unemployment, graduate unemployment, revenue leakages, the instability of the cedi, absenteeism in Ghana's Parliament, fiscal challenges, the shrinking of tax base, to name a few. So much power is vested in the Presidency to the extent that Ghana's Parliament exists just in name. Yet men we put in the Presidency are useless, incompetent, duplicitous by character.

Why are so cursed? During JA Kufuor's Presidency, it was the same in the 8 years he remained in power. JA Kufuor never stayed at home, and now John Mahama and yet there are people who know the President is derelict in his duty still they want to keep him there for their own selfish interest. This is very sad.

This is clearly western governments agenda and there's no way the developing world can influence the agenda. Mahama, just like any developing country rep is there as an observer.....

Canada is bringing over 100 officials as negotiators and the american team is no less than 150 officials made up of scientists and policy makers and Mahama really thinks Ghana has a position on the matter that the rest of the world is interested in??

My foot. We can not even collect our garbage spilling over to our streets, our sewage system is appalling, and 2 in 5 Ghanaians shit in open toilets. And you the President has the audacity to waste tax payers money to travel abroad and talk about what!!!

Ghanaians should be proud of our president of what he has done and achieved since the NDC government came to power. The history of mother Ghana will prove itself because since Ghana was born as independent country the old opposition UGCC and the present opposition NPP led by Akim and Ashntis have always destroyed and brought Ghana backwards. Until the badly conceived military coup of 1966 by Afrifah and Kotoka planed and executed by CIA, Kofi Busia and the UGCC enthusiast, Ghana could boast of any civilized developments and facilities which were built, manufactured or bought by our late president Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and the CPP government. From the period of independence 6th of March 1957 to 1966, Ghana had new roads, inherited railway lines to all regions except the northern Ghana, new Black Star shipping lines with Ghanaian trained captains, sailors engineers and stewards. Nkrumah also built a new Ghana Airways airlines with Ghanaian trained pilots, engineers, air- hostesses and stewards. Nkrumah built new Parliament, new government's ministries for the civil servants in all regions as well as estate houses for the workers and entire population in all the regions. Above all universities, institutions, schools and technical schools were built. Many of these facilities have been destroyed by Afrifah , Busia and Acheampong regimes. Finally Kufuor and NPP government including Nana Addo sold Ghana Airways and telecommunication to Vodafone.
