This deluded Injustice Dery cannot claim immunity from prosecution for criminal acts under Article 127(3). Collecting bribes (money, ram and yam) were not part of the functions of his judicial office as Justice of the High Court. These were criminal acts and no part of the 1992 Constitution was meant to protect officials from deliberately committing criminal acts. Not even the president is protected by the constitution from criminal acts whilst he is in office.

This corrupt judge has run out of options yet he is trying his best to stop being prosecuted. Next he will sue the Attorney General and finally, the President. He has no shame.

If shouldiers were handling this judicial scandal,be thruthful to yourself,would this Dery man would be maki ng all these auterances?
Just cease all his assets to the state and put him to sleep forever.
Put his wife and children behind bars; 10 years if they kids are above 18years and for good in the case of his wife.
She know s how much his husband earn at the end of the month as salary/allowances, yet she never reported him to the police for the affluent lifestyle she enjoys with her kids.
No mercy for the family because,Dery showed no mercy for the family of the people he wrongly and willfully imprisoned them.
Do not give these corrupt judges any fair trial as they never gave anyone any fair trial. Confiscate their assets to the state and shoot them. We do not want to hear or read anything about them.

I have personally never been against the abongo rulers. Just as we see many criminals in different form under democratic rule, it is the same way, we might see thieves under the abongo rule. Infact, thieves are less under abongo than under democratic rule. Meanwhile, this man should have been locked first, ask to prove his innocence, thereafter suing. And they called themselves learned lawyers.
