Sharp brain to do wrong. Sharp brains should be used productively, not to destroy. My question is what is the objective of Amidu with this waste of space and time. All he has done is to give armunition to people of like minds in the legal fraternity to and elsewhere to frustrate the attempts being made to expose wrong doing. Attention is going to be diverted to discussing this rubbish rather than focusing on getting on with the process of punishing the judges . Even satan had a sharp mind when he tempted Jesus.

All those insulting Martin Amidu here are missing the point. At the heart of it he is fighting the cross-current of potent tyranny. Please have an open mind and carefully and thoroughly read and analyze what his writings are about. The basic thrust of his arguments is to mightily guard against the constitution of Ghana from covert gradual weakening and undermining for the purposes of destroying political opponents.
As citizens, you and I have nothing between us and tyranny except the constitution and if a dictatorial government can dilute its fundamental principles and institutions by engaging covert agencies to weaken those constitutional protections, it will do it, albeit, to keep itself in power. Already the NDC government is demonstrably showing that it has these tendencies in the way it is handling the constitutional reforms process by cherry picking which amendments it would like to forward to parliament for consideration whiles sitting on others that were collected by the Constitutional Reform Committee(CRC) from home and abroad. Wouldn't the prudent steps be submitting to the legislative body to deliberate on everything that we the people have put out there on their merits or demerits to make it to the final bill? Why is the government trying to shape and colour the outcome for us, whereas it is a vested party with its own selfish interests? Why almost 8 years and counting we do not have the Freedom to Information Act? What is there more to study or deliberate about; or is Ghana the first country to formulate the freedom of information bill?
What Martin Amidu is saying - and I get him - Anas and his company should do the proper thing by staying true to their stated mission, values and purpose as independent investigative organization free from governmental puppeteering manipulation and instrument against its perceived enemies by getting itself properly constituted and established, legally and factually. I don't disagree with that. Isn't it the case that so far not even a single government minister or its assigns have been exposed by Anas, it has always been peripheral agencies, organizations and institutions? How strange. Corrupt government ministers are not even trying to hide, they live their opulence in plain site.
Meanwhile people should pay close attention to the words Martin Amidu is using......the key operative word that started this round of discussion is "government commissioned" Anas to run a sting operation against the judiciary. Now some journalists started "throwing" into the mouth of Amidu, " government sponsored....." when in fact what he said was "government commissioned". There is a whole world of difference between "commissioned" and "sponsored". The two should not be confused.

It does not matter the act is in monetary, material or in a 'flesh'; it's still corruption. Amidu must not consider slowing down for the end is near. This man has spiked our interest in the crime and we shall stay with him to the end, like an Archaeological find.

My friend, let this so called Tiger eye or whatever defends itself,in some reports they claim they are private investigators and in some they are investigative journalists which in all they are not qualified with the kind of work they are doing.
I personally has been writing that their work is bogus and fraud even if I stand alone I like it,at least I have not followed them blindly as many are doing here, that practice of going to pay to get people release or have people release in exchange for sex is the most outrageous thing I ever heard, very backward which also makes him or them part of the corruption they claim they are investigating.
Whether government commissions them or not that is not my problem but their method of their operation and if it happens that they are really operating illegally then it has added to what I have been saying this case is not going anywhere.

Very soon, I believe God will abandone us for good for us to live in past history, ignorance and poverty. Long live Amidu

The objective of this brave man is to expose the seeds of dictatorship that are being sown. The mere holding of elections every 4 years does not make any country a democracy. Togo, Cameroun, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Angola hold election frequently because the government controls the minds of its citizens, lostening to phone calls and targeting its enemies through such cladestines operations in which they deny responsibility so that no one will ask why they are investigating Parliament and they Judiciary by entrapment to tie their hands but have no interest in exposing and punishing corruption in the Executive. The next will be the Media and the Churches, and Political party funding, then every institution would have been discredit so that one party can continue to ruke and rob us. It is because of this that the recommendations kf tge constitutional review has been shelved into the credibility of these institutions of state and public opinion has been crashed. Then there will be clamour for third term because the alternatives are much worse.
So you see how it is easy to create a totalitarian state. The NDC must remember the say: that when the game for the Germans, Jews, Christians, Moslems, etc I did not speak, so when they came for me finally there was no one to speak for me

If Martin Amidu's claim is true then Martin should not attack Anas as he is doing because if Anas had shown us the judicial crimes and all the judges are attacking him plus Mr Amidu himself then what would have happened if Anas Had a chance to expose Mahama and his politicians? Anas would have been killed by now. Mr Amidu is not trying to expose Mahama but rather trying to accuse Anas that, Anas should not have exposed the corruption that is going on. We all suspected the judges and the lawyers were corrupt but someone needed to do undercover to bring the counrty the evidence and that is exactly what Anas has done. Why should Martin Amidu accused some one who have risked his life? If Mahama is sitting on another video what could Anas do? Mahama has power over Anas. Already Anas life is in danger by people who enjoys evil going on in Ghana. Hmmmm Ghana.

Beautifully written, but what is the point?
No Private Investigator (not even in the so-called advanced democracies) can seriously undertake to uncover corruption without depending on some support from the government or established institutions. Indeed, Mr. Martin Amidu calls himself (is rather called) "Citizen Vigilante" because he has had special access, as a former Attorney General, to relevant records and documents. In short, Mr. Amidu is able to do what he is doing now because he has had, or is still enjoying some kind of support from the government or the institutions that be!
Clearly, Mr. Amidu is peeved that judges have been so shamed. He seemed to be inclined toward that outrageous thinking that the judges were "tempted"!
If my memory serves me right, I think I've read or heard on the radio something to the effect that Tiger Eye PI's next release will be on parliamentarians. But whatever the case is, for Mr. Amidu to argue that a government (Executive) cares more about a disgraced parliament than a about shamed judiciary is preposterous and ridiculous. Is the Judiciary not one of the 3 big arms of government (democracy)? No President, not even the 'dumbest', will use the Executive against the Judiciary because it goes without saying that the fall of the Judiciary will obviously have serious implications for the Executive!
In fact, Mr. Amidu, in spite of the beautifully written piece- a mark of great scholarly research-failed to tell Ghanaians anything new. Anas himself had said openly that he had had support from state institutions so "What is the point?". Mr. Amidu failed to prove that Tiger Eye PI had collected money from the government as a condition for doing what it does. He only insinuated that such payments could have taken place covertly.
Ghanaians are tired of 'big brofo' and legalistic arguments meant to dampen and confuse 'truths'. To the average Ghanaian, it is not about whether Tiger Eye PI is a registered company or not. What is important is, Is Tiger Eye PI rendering a unique service to the country? How on earth could Ghanaians have obtained evidence of corruption in the Judiciary if Tiger Eye PI had not undertaken that 'dangerous trip' into the judges offices and homes?
Mr. Amidu, thank you for your beautifully written article. But to me and many Ghanaians I know it doesn't make sense. Since Mr. Amidu took time to write this, I suggest that he also writes a piece to condemn the Electoral Commission for tolerating those 'small political parties' because by law they don't technically qualify as Political Parties! You know, "theoretical truths" are not always (or do not necessarily make) "reality truths".

I have begun to see a certain personal frailty in Amidu's Citizen vigilante status. And that is the lure of excess ego being projected into his arguments, especially in this fight he has picked up with the Tiger PI.
If Amidu has any problem with the structural embodiment of the Tiger PI, he ought to take it up in a different setting, not in that of undermining the work of the PI that most Ghanaians have found most beneficial. If by any error of registration as a viable legal Business entity, the Tiger PI has broken the Law, let Amidu present his complaints with that focus. But to use that excuse to rubbish the monumental, historic exposition of fraud in our Judiciary by the Tiger PI would be too much for Amidu to chew. That is because the Public would react to draw him down along with the duly discredited Judges.
It is wrong for Amidu to make this a personal fight between him and Anas or even the Tiger PI. Amidu is wearing off his own reputation by this ridiculous assault on Anas.

Are you trying to descredit Tiger Eye PI this time round Martin, just because some of your close associates were caught in Anaas' Web? Or you are doing it to spite the prezident? I also don't want to belive that you 'feel dwarfed' by Tiger Eye's exploits in its Anti-curruption crusade.
Your argument that Tiger Eye was commisioned by the president to investigate its oponents is also flawed by portions of your own submision. Are you saying that Anass finished the alleged investigation on the legislature before realizing that some members were from the Governing party?
Why will Tiger Eye in the first place proceed to investigate Ministers and MPs who belong to the ruling party that commissioned it, as you claim and later try to hide the findins? Or Anass did not know which of the Legislators belonged to 'the Prezident Party'........ Please, Mr Amidu with all due respect.... In your effort to settle your score with the Governing party for whatever reasons, leave out Anaas and 'Tigger Eye PI', an agency which has made its name at the Iternational front without the support of ghana government.
