Unfortunately, sad as it may seem, the statement that John Dramani Mahama is very, very chummy with the canker called corruption is the truth.
Never in the history of this country have we seen a President who is soooo "corruption-philic" than President John Dramani Mahama.
Indeed, the Founder of their own NDC party had this to say about this reeking canker of corruption that had sooo subsumed and engulfed their NDC party and gov't and by extension John Dramani Mahama, when Judge Ajet Nassam acquitted and discharged Alfred Agbesi Woyome,(a name which has become synonymous with the judicial lexicon CREATE, LOOT AND SHARE) and I quote, “When 40% of the corrupt people have lost their positions to enable us clean the party, 60% have now come in to protect themselves and we also vote them. Are we so stupid” end of quote.
By my little understanding of computation, if you get rid of 40%, you are left with 60%. Now when 60% come in to add to the 60% left, you have more than 100%, actually you have 120% which is over and above anything to be described as normal, and this folks, is very, very dangerous.
This is how corrupt-loving the John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't and party has become, and Ghana has suffered painfully.
In the specific matter of this raging DVLA loot, much as I hate to burst the bubble of the acting chairman of the NPP party, the sad reality is, absolutely nothing is going to be done to the looters.
Indeed, Ghanaians will see these looters in the grotto of everything corrupt ie the Presidency than see them being held accountable. That fortunately or unfortunately has become the story of the John Dramani Mahama NDC administration.
This is what happens, when the main creative and ingenuous policy of the gov't in power is thievery and looting. There is no daylight created between corruption, thievery and the perpetrators right from the Presidency to the least in such a gov't.
The fallout of such an obscene state of pillaging and plunder is retrogression and underdevelopment. The country collapses as every Ghanaian is witnessing today with the exception of the looters.
Ghana cannot continue like this and expect any positive results. Change must therefore come in 2016. The John Mahama NDC gov't has outlived it's usefulness in the development paradigm of Ghana and they must go.

Do you know EOCO and what it does? Just to give you a gist. The Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) was set up by Act 804 of 2010 in line with Article 190 (1((d) of the 1992 constitution as one of the Public Services of Ghana to supplement and augment government's effort in the fight against corruption in the State. The Office was established as a specialized agency of government to monitor, investigate and on the authority of the Attorney-General, prosecute any offence involving serious financial and economic loss to the state and to make provision for connected and incidental purposes.
EOCO's report nailed John Dramani Mahama, the Ministry of Transport and the DVLA.
It is a very different scenario from two people in a party who are fighting over who should control campaign funds and when there is disagreement and the money is moved to another bank, the other party starts shouting bring it or you are a thief.
