The NDC party had never accepted that there was any mistake in the voters' register, and even said it was the cleanest, more credible and ready for use in the 2016 elections without any reservation. Now, and after the stakeholders' overwhelming agreement that there were flaws in the register, coupled with the proofs presented by NPP that the register was bloated and tainted with all kinds of flaws, NDC has now realized that it can no longer cling to those malicious denials, and therefore call for cosmetic changes to be made on the register, which would still allow them to rig the elections without tears.

This is a recipe for everybody acting in their best interest at the pooling stations. This is very dangerous for 2016 elections. I thought that courts were made to resolve disputes and disagreements. If the courts cannot mediate in electoral rigging, then we're heading for real trouble.

Was the NPP correct or not in their assertion the current voters register was compromised from the investigations based on evidence presented or not?
We need to be clear and take the necessary steps to get a freshly compiled, new and clean register timeously because, that bloated rotten register will never have any place in the 2016 elections or beyond.
The EC and the NCCE should begin the process of educating Ghanaians as to when this will be done and what will be the expectation.
As for that register being used in 2016, the EC should forget about it. It is not going to happen in this country.
