Who need him? you don't see he is a nuisance to the party? Anyone who is not satisfied with his suspension can go and form a party or join another party. We don't want to see him back today or tomorrow, period. Two people can not decide for the party on just the note of Chairman and General Secretary. This is not a winner takes it all party as some other parties do.

This is a confused report. Assuming Paul Afoko had died, who would act as Chairman? I guess it is Freddie Blay. The Chairman has been suspended so the first deputy is acting. What is so difficult to understand about this? Blay is only acting because the chairman is on suspension; he is not the one who took the decision to suspend the chairman. It was taken by the Disciplinary committee and approved by the NEC. Regarding the ecobank account, some of us are happy it is now been described as a reactivated account. At first we were told it was a secret account they opened. But the truth of the matter is that Chairman Afoko was not calling meetings. He and Kwabena Agyapong were taking decisions between them without involving the other executives not to talk about the NEC. The two of thm managed to sideline Abankwa and were signing cheques and using party funds. No other party activity was taking place because they didn't sanction it. When Blay called th NEC meeting in the absence of Afoko just before the parliamentary primaries, no meeting had been called for over two months. Kwabena Agyapong was acting unilaterally, one man thousand. Was Blay wrong in calling the meeting to discuss the modalities of the primaries in the absence of the Chairman? When the Treasurer was sidelined from accessing funds, his main function being the operation of party funds, how was he expected to operate, specially when the other ex co members also needed funds to operate? Afoko has messed up big time and some of us who voted for him are disappointed. We don't know what exactly his problem is. Initially, we thought it was because he was supporting Allan, that was why he was behaving that way. Now Allan himself has joined Nana Addo on his campaigns. Meanwhile it is said that every meeting that was held with Afoko and Kwabena present, by the following day, all decisions takn will leak to the NDC. When they are absent, nothing leaks. I am not saying that they leak the information, but it will be interesting to know how the leaks come about. Finally, Afoko is an Accra Chairman. He cannot visit his own region-Upper East. When he failed to join the campaign for the Talensi bye election, Nanan and the other members were accused of sidelining him. But he himself knew that he could not step a foot in Bolga. The party wul;d have spent all its resources protecting him rather than campaigning for the seat.In conclusion, Blay is not the problem; Afoko is. By the way, how can Afoko appeal a decision he did not endorse?
