My brother, I know that Amidu has a masters in law but did not mention that in my first post on purpose just to make my point that a PhD holder iis not necessarily the one who Will be better at the law it is the practical experience which is better here. What about if the one did an llm and race searched into the ethnics of affirmative action in something, then tops it up at the PhD level, this doctor most probably may not have the experience of someone who has practiced for 10 yrs.

Please be a bit critical and try to understand that it is important that we do not flout the basic law of our land in order to fight corruption.

If Anas is a government agent then the accused may be genuine victims of entrapment. There will also be issues about who chooses the targets.

Amidu is quite clearly concerned that Anas's agenda has been drawn by Government and there is a danger that the process may suffer from political colourisation.

Are you not concerned that those that are springing up in defence of Anas are mostly the usual babies with sharp teeth?

Is Adu Asare entitled to join this debate on integrity, honesty and corruption? (Brazil refers.)

Why is government not retraining and retooling the constitutional structures such as the EOCO, BNI, CID and the police to fight the rampaging menace of corruption?

Why is Anas accepting state largesse in the pursuit of his commendable effort? And who is funding the larger enterprise?. Large sums of money are being doled out to judges as part of the strategy to get his game but who is funding it?

Lastly, is Anas paying his taxes as normal? He appears to be trading under "limited" companies that do not exit.

Amidu must be commended for asking the questions.

Yes, Tiger Eye has exposed corruption, mr amidu is not denying that. It is the procedure, the method used , the purpose for which it was done.

Whether the Company was registered to undertake such activities. Is this indicated in their registration documents that they are undercover agents ?

We are all pleased to know that our systems are not what they should be. No one is condemning the revelations , it is the ownership of the report. Who commissioned it? Was it carried out from the blue; did Tiger Eye took the decision on its own as a (CRS)social responsibility for the State?

Again Mr Amidu is definitely older than Mr. Gyabeng in the profession. In this profession the longer you practice and handle cases the more experience you gain. Teaching law at school does not require any length of practice.
In fact it is just re echoing what one was also taught. How many Ghanaian lecturers have written any book? Yes a few have done so and we know them. Intellectual laziness is what Mr Amidu was taking Mr Gyabeng on when he made allusion to his experience and age. Referring him to read the Law Reports. Mr Amidu and mr. Gyabeng both know the importance lawyers attach to the Law Reports. he was making reference to a source material which show his class.

Mr gyabeng should be polite, humble and acknowledge with respect mr amidu. In law surely there are legends. Am sure they both have read or heard of Lord Denning ( UK).

What Lord Denning was to the UK that's what Mr. Amidu and a few senior lawyers are to Ghana. Denning was the Master of the Rolls.
So please those arguing that teaching at Legon makes a law lecturer superior must forget that line of thinking.

Let's watch as the drama unfolds to see the intellectual legal sense of both mr Amidu and mr gyabeng.

It is starting to get boring. From being praised for his previous work unearthing wrongdoing to helping in strengthening case law, Martin Amidu is now running the real risk of being ignored by people. He is talking too much, bragging too much, insulting too many and running in circles now. Is it that he has too much time on his hands or sour grapes? e has picked up an unnecessary fight with Anas. One is beginning to wonder whether Martin Amidu is simply jealous or doing the bidding of certain accused person(s) or afraid of something. Only time will tell

So why is Amidu so determined to save the face of these criminal judges. If he thinks there is corruption in the executive, nobody stops him from doing his own investigations to expose them. In fact we need more of such exposures. Tiger eye could be a nonexistent company and who cares? what the people of Ghana cares about is the exposure of corruption. If they are in bed with the govt, he Amidu can also establish a unit to do undercover work to expose the govt.
What can't he understand except because he was booted out he wants to find everything wrong with the govt.
