Tekper and those happy people must be silly indeed. When can you pay one hundred billion dollars and progress as s country. When the borrowed monies are stolen by mahama and thieves. Just last week DVLA BOSS stole 6.9 million dollars for a project costing 3.6 million dollars and instead of collecting those monies tekper continues borrowing more and more and fools are happy. Where has reasoning gone to from Ghana. You see poverty clearly on the faces of Ghanaians and a small batch of idiots are misleading the people. Ghanaians wake up. NDC HAS NO FUTURE FOR TGE COUNTRY

I think it is high time the government publishes the accounts of VRA and Electricity company and any other major public party in the electricity generation , distribution and sale in this country. In all cases full details must be provided of the top 100 debtors, possible power losses, non paying consumer costs e.g police, army, ministers, parliament etc . That will be a good starting point. From where i sit it still sounds very strange that whereas most of the electricity is prepaid we are regularly reminded of non payment of bills (by who?) or in accurate pricing. For various reasons costs in the francophone entities are higher than in Ghana. With electricity it is about the same!! I see a case of 50% consumers paying the bill for a 100% consuming public. Unfortunately the non paying consumers are increasing faster than the paying consumers so the power and the inflated price WILL NEVER BE ADEQUATE. That is the simple expalnation for the cash flow problem also. If we buy 100% worth of crude to power thermal plants and only 50% of the consuming public is paying the rest going to the non paying group and wastage obviously we will always owe the fuel or gas supplier as we will never ever collect cash from the consumers equivalent to 100%. This is simply logic and possibly why some sitback and say the government is not competent! Or is it a case of open cheating, stealing or call it whatever u may call it?

End of load shedding means having power all the time and that is what we all seek.As for the power going off sometimes it is expected. For instance if a there is a technical problem it could happen. We could only pray that such situations don't happen often and even if they do it they should be brief.

(& the Ameri aka Dubai "temporary power deal" if you ever see the facts of the cost of running you will be shocked & if fuel cost goes up well you can just forget it ghanas children's children will be paying the debt - Do you care? Namibia- "A barge with a generating capacity of 225MW can cost government about $250 million (N$303.8 million).
He said the option of barges is in part one of the country’s ways of searching for other options of getting a power plant
Electricity capacity in the region is under severe strain. There were plans to build a 250MW power plant which was supposed to be an interim power plant before the Kudu gas power plant is constructed, which is the baseload power plant.
The 250MW power plant, whose TENDER was won by Xaris Energy, was CANCELLED by Government because it would cost the "SAME PRICE" to construct as the Kudu gas plant. For a peak power plant to cost that much, it was believed to kill Kudu gas.

So if Kwabena Donkor is saying he promised "load shedding" and not "Dumsor", then he should explain what it means. He is trying to throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians to hide on the failure and the incompetent NDC government. As far as Ghanaians are concerned, they will make sure that this Kwabena Donkor resigns after December 31 if the 'Dumsor" is not solved and the nail in the coffin of NDC in election 2016. We are fed up of this incompetent government and it is time for them to leave the scene.

You said categorically when you were appointed minister of power that Mahama should fire you if you are not able to solve the power (dumso) crisis by the end of this year. Mahama in turn said he would hold you accountable (dismiss you) if you are unable to solve the power crisis as you have said. Have you forgotten that? No wonder nobody trusts NDC.
