    In the absence of coal, charcoal or wood can be used ??? What the? Do you realise how much wood is needed plus do you realise the effect if burning our forests down?

    Clean coal is not cheap..most clean technology have CCS which makes it as expensive as other thermal sources. and u can't be talking abt charcoal and saw dust,,u need coal with high energy content. If you want..we have a huge ...

    can be profitable...why build coal plant,spend extra money for clean tech & unless the plant is near ocean, pay for transport of coal just like gold or aluminum ore????
