I guess they will go to hell and we will go to heaven if and only if they exist. At least we can only believe they exist to give our lazy lives some hope just like we believe in

Fear created heaven and hell. As such early orthodox Christians added fuel to the fire in order to hold their followers in check by creating more fear. This doctrine held on till the 15th century when the reformation took place and the church started losing its power/grip on the people. That gave way to free energy and creativity in natural science. Explorers and inventors started challenging old dogmas. Galileo Galilee and astronomers like Copernicus came on the scene and the rest they say is history.

Up until the 15th century the Muslim and the Christian world were at par in almost every aspect. 200 years later in the 17th century the Christian Europe had left her Muslim counterparts behind because they stuck old beliefs. The advent of the industrial revolution in the 17th heralded new spirit of inventions and has held on until today.

From beginning to end the Bible is entirely and absolutely silent about either the preexistence or creation of "hell."

An eternal hell would make God monstrously unjust, if he created it or knew about it and didn't immediately warn the entire world, but according to the Bible "hell" did not preexist and was never created because from beginning to end the Bible is absolutely silent about either the preexistence or creation of "hell."

In fact, if we read the Bible chronologically from the beginning of Genesis to the end of the book of Acts (the self-recorded history of the early Christian church), we will not find a single verse in which God or any Hebrew prophet or Jesus or any apostle ever mentioned a place called "hell."

How could a loving, wise, just God create an "eternal hell" yet never once mention its creation and purpose to any of his prophets or apostles? How could God cause or allow billions of people to suffer for all eternity when they died knowing nothing about the Bible, Jesus or "hell"? Why would God save "the chosen few" by grace, but deny any chance of grace to billions of people who never heard of Jesus

Here is a simple, logical proof that there is no reason to believe in "hell," according to the Bible itself:

• There is no mention of "hell" in the entire Old Testament.
• Suffering after death were never mentioned to Adam, Eve, Cain, Noah, Abraham, Moses, et al.
• The Hebrew word Sheol clearly means "the grave," not "hell."
• The Greek word Hades clearly means "the grave," not "hell."
• Therefore, to condemn someone to Sheol/Hades was to simply to say they would die.
• There are only a handful of verses in the New Testament that discuss a place called "hell," and all but one are mistranslations of Sheol, Hades and Gehenna. The only verse that discusses a place that might actually be translated as "hell" (Tartarus) is about fallen angels awaiting judgement and thus this "hell" is not for human beings and is not eternal.
• The early Christians were not condemning people to "hell," if Acts is authentic and accurate.
• Paul never mentioned a place called "hell" in any of his thirteen epistles, even though he said that he received his gospel directly from God, not man.
• If Jesus and the apostles had condemned other Jews to "hell," there would have been heated debates, since "hell" had never been mentioned by the Hebrew prophets. But no such debates are recorded in the Bible.
• If the early Christians had believed their children might go to an "eternal hell," Paul and the other apostles would have warned them not to have babies. But there are no such warnings in the Bible.
• An eternal "hell" would cause mothers to have to choose between God and their children grandchildren and great-grandchildren; thus the only mothers who would choose to remain in heaven would be the bad mothers!
• Infant baptism and the "age of accountability" were never discussed by the Hebrew prophets, Jesus, Paul or any of the other apostles. They were only needed after evil-minded men had clumsily cobbled "hell" into the Bible, as a means of robbing people and controlling their behavior.
• According to Josephus, "hell" in Judaism originated with the Pharisees, the sworn enemies of Jesus.
• While there are a few verses in the Bible that seem to describe suffering after death, the question is whether such verses are credible. If God, the Hebrew prophets, Jesus and the early Christians never mentioned a place called "hell," and someone else cobbled in a few nonsensical verses at the last minute, in order to defraud and control other people, should anyone believe those verses? Why not look at the Bible as a whole, and discount the verses that make no sense and are unworthy of human belief? No one "believes" the verse that allowed fathers to sell their daughters as sex slaves with the option to buy them back if they failed to please their new masters (Exodus 21), or the verse that commands parents to stone their daughters to death if they're raped (Deuteronomy 22), or the verse that allows "men of God" to slaughter mothers and their infant sons, keeping only the virgin girls alive as sex slaves (Numbers 31). No sane person believes the Bible verses that command racism, slavery, matricide, infanticide, ethnic cleansing and genocide. So why "believe" the horrendous verses about eternal punishment or the ones that condemn homosexuality?

Indeed religion is opium of the people. When you become intoxicated in religion you become worst than ISIS. Let us keep our beliefs to ourselves then all is good.

There is a big difference in their religious behavior. Churchgoers/Christians and even some non believers in advanced countries consider the church as any regular charity organization that supervise the distribution of goods and money to the needy in society so they donate money and good to the church to be given to the poor while in the 3rd world countries their main believe is that they will go to heaven by giving tithe and collection to the pastor whether he/she misuses it or not. So even when they have not paid their children school fees or have no money to pay for the much needed prescription at the pharmacy, the tithe comes first due to the believe that they will go to heaven. Also, when a church member in an advanced country loses his/her job and tells the pastor, the pastor will never tell her to come and let him pray for her but will rather tell her to apply for unemployment benefits or to upgrade her resume/application by taking some certification courses that require few weeks or few months.
But a pastor in a 3rd world country will require extra prayers, fasting, miracles and even tell her it's the course of her grey-haired grandmother which will require more tithes/money for him to reverse the cure/curse.
1. The number of new churches that are build in 3rd world countries increases at an increasing rate while that in advanced countries increases at a diminishing rate. Also, the cathedrals that the Europeans renovate are seen as ancient relics with quality olden materials used in its construction. So they use it as a source of tourist attraction(like musieum) to generate revenue because even some of the local and foreign visitors who pay to have a look at the church are even non believers. They renovate for economic gains.
2. The British Queen identified as an Anglican because she is an "old school" and she has a duty to play as a queen to the throne. Just like if an African child is raised as a Christian and later becomes the king of his tribe, he has to follow protocols such as libation pouring even if it is against his Christian faith.

Some have even written books on it. An american author called kat kerr had a supernatural experience about heaven n she wrote about some of the things she saw n experienced in heaven. The book is called REVEALING HEAVEN. U can even download a pdf version from the internet. I think u should check it out b4 u start drawing conclusions that heaven doesn't exist.

It is a fact that those who claim that there is heaven and hell who are murdering and maiming people today so that they can go to heaven and marry 17 virgins there. On the other hand those who are not willing to go to heaven or hell said they are just human and must make the world a better place to live.
It looks like we want many people who are poor to commit sin on Earth and when they die live again in hell, when life here was hell to them. Religious people claim that that is the creation of a reasonable God. I have not created hell in my house for my children, so I am of the view that no reasonable person will do so. So that is the end of the myth and illusion.

In other words, every christian believes is heaven and hell bcos the bible which christians read says heaven n hell exist. So for somebody to say he's a christian and does not believe in heaven n hell is very funny and strange. Simply put Kofi Amoabeng is not a christian. Now to the issue of heaven n hell, i will not advice that anybody should take an assumption about the existence of heaven or hell. Heaven n hell is not something to b gambled with. Many people who say they don't believe in heaven n hell say so bcos they haven't seen any of these places b4, hence they assume it doesn't exist. U need to b 100% sure about what u're saying, what if u're wrong? Is it a risk u're willing to take? If u want to research on sonething, u can go to the internet n check. There r people that have had near death experiences of which they saw heaven n hell, u can find some on youtube. I came across books like REVEALING HEAVEN by kat kerr, DIVINE REVELATION OF HEAVEN by Mary Baxter, HEAVEN IS SO REAL by Thomas Choo. U can also type testimony Richard Antwi on youtube. U can look for these books n read, don't have to buy, u can easily download a pdf version. U can also watch Richard antwi's encounter of heaven n hello youtube then draw your conclusions whether they r just making up stories or not. Like i said, don't assume, u need to b sure.
