An elated Terkper further told the House “government secured its fourth Eurobond at a coupon rate of 10.75 percent with a maturity of fifteen years” adding that, the bond is “a soft amortizing bond to be repaid in three installments of US$333 million in years 2028 and 2029, and US$334 million in 2030.”

Rebutting the minister’s presentation on the bond in a Citi News interview, however, Dr Bawumia was shocked the former was not saddened government had secured the bond at 10.75 percent.

“The Eurobond issue of 10.75 percent, the billion dollars issue of 15 years.
You are going to be paying 10.75 percent. When you should be crying, you are rather saying you have done very well and it shows a fundamental lack of understanding. It is a very bad deal for the country. 8 percent above US treasuries, compared to 3.8 percent above US treasuries when we [NPP] did the 2007 budget so that area is really a sad area of mismanagement. Then you look at the debt stock that this is accumulating.”

“This debt stock will reach $99 billion by the end of this year.
The interest of this debt alone is going to be 6 times Ghana’s oil revenue,” he argued.

After Nkrumah had oppressed and liquidated the opposition party with his PDA, he turned it on his own CPP members and the general public before he was forced out by the National Liberation Council.

Similarly, NDC has also been adding and removing names from the voters' register at will to rig general elections since the Rawlings NDC days, and it's now using the same tactics against its members and Rawlings own daughter in the ongoing primaries and the small boys are crying foul.

Does the EC need any more evidence other than what is already available to compile a credible new poll register for conducting free, fair and democratic elections in 2016?

President John Mahama has said the ruling National Democratic Congress offers opportunity of leadership to all its able members without prejudice to their ethnic or educational background.

According to him, the NDC does not discriminate against individuals like other “political parties” in the country.

In a Facebook post Monday, Mr Mahama said Ghanaians should be hopeful in his government since their achievements will soon be clear for all to see.

“I continued my ?#?ChangingLives? & ?#?TransformingGhana? Tour. This time, I visited the Northern Region. I asked everyone to keep their heads up, because everybody stands a chance to make a difference and to improve people’s lives. I had to come from one of the remotest areas of the country to lead NDC to victory. This is because NDC as a party is people centered and never discriminate against anybody,” the President wrote.

He continued: “Let me assure all Ghanaians that NDC is a party for ordinary people, unlike other parties where they look at your pedigree! We are working just like an artist. When artists are working you don’t actually know what they are doing until they finish the work. Those who are saying we are not working are entitled to their opinions, but all Ghanaians would testify to the contrary. So let’s stay focused and united in brotherly love! Let’s keep changing lives! Let’s keep transforming Ghana!”

My friends,
I want to express my gratitude for your participation in the “Ask Mahama”. Thank you all! It was beautiful for me to see how many wonderful people are deeply interested in Ghana's future. The newly re-elected President of the United Stated of America, Barak Obama, after meeting our regretted John Evans Atta Mills, declared Ghana as "a wonderful economic success story". Also, he congratulated our country on the efforts Ghana has made to root out corruption, increase transparency, and to make sure that government is working for the people of Ghana and not just for the few.
This is a proof that the road we embarked on is a good one and that we can continue to be successful. Our progress is not un-noticed and our efforts are not without pay. Let us carry on this successful story that is Ghana even further.

However, we have a long way to go. There still are issues we need to take care of: we need to expand the access to quality education, to make Energy for All the bedrock of socio-economical transformation and to promote a decentralized governance agenda. But look at all we have already achieved: we are growing as a country; we have resources that we are managing better and better. We have people to count on. We have a future.

It's so ugly.there is nothing funny in it its only people who do not know their bearing will accept it. Borrowing to perform isn't good leadership and over taxing to survive isn't a good president. I am a voltaic and l think it's bad to have other citizens coming to vote in our country.l saw it the last time. You dare not do it in Togo,Benin.lvoria and Burkina Faso. The syst won't allow because they have national identification syst. It is right for us as citizens to ask for National identification before voting in 2016. Winning elections by crock means derails progress of the country.Let's all sit up either.Npp.Ndc.Ppp.pnc.pnc etc. Demand only ni as only way to secure voting rights
