And when years of accumulated stolen monies from percentages of inflated projects, judgment debts and direct use of government money from ghost projects like SADA and so on are shared fraudulently among the poor gullible voters, what do you expect? Still, if some NDC supporters were caught with thumb-printed ballot papers to rig the elections, how many of them did went through undetected or allowed to pass for stuffing the boxes in favour of NDC? I believe you have not forgotten that they used 5billion dollars of our money out of the budget in 2012 to buy the conscience of gullible votes either.

Ghana is paying six times its total oil revenue as interest on the country’s total public debt stock; that’s the computation done by former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

“We’ll reach GHC99billion by the end of this year,” the Running Mate to the Flagbearer of the biggest opposition Party said in a post-budget presentation interview with Richard Sky of Citi FM.

“The interest on this debt alone is going to be six times Ghana’s oil revenue,” Dr Bawumia said.

“When we found oil, we were happy that we found oil, but the borrowing of this Government has compromised the whole oil discovery; you need six times our oil revenue just to pay interest on the debt, not even capital, so, it is a really sad development,” he complained.

This what the people of the Ningo-Prampram constituency have to contend with. Two thoroughly reckless vermin of varying ages who are exploiting the failed multi-party western democratic system to exploit the people of that area - as all other MPs in Ghana have done, for their own exclusive benefit and privilege.

It beats my mind why anybody would want to sympathize with both the aging but indefatigable ET Mensah who has been MP in that area for forever with very little results to show.

On the other hand is the vicious little baby with sharp teeth who even senior members of his own party dread for his disrespectful, brutish, street-fighter posture as a member of the doomed Mahama govt.

There seems to be another spoiler in this brawl of NDC titans. The crass incompetence for which the NDC is now notoriously known worldwide, has condescended into the hysteria of the Ningo-Prampram constituency elections. It is claimed that over 2000 registered members of the party cannot vote because their names cannot be found on the electoral register. Not too strangely, the contending baby with sharp teeth cannot also find his name on that register either.

We watch with bated breath at the unfolding drama.
