  @ Osei Kofi . The is Constitution of Ghana,1992, does not apply strict principles of separation of powers as propounded by Montesquieu. Ours allows for smooth interplay or sometimes overlap between some of the organs of government.That's is why for example, it is mandotery for any elected Peesident to nominate majority of his ministers of state from among members of Parliament as per Article 78 of the Constitution,1992. Also article 60(1) allows the Speaker of Parliament to act as President in the absence of both the President and Vice President. I hope this helps.
