Why change a winning formula. There are 10 regions in Ghana, yet somehow the NDC thinks a Fanti MUST ALWAYS be on their ticket, I wonder why? What does it say to the indigenes of other regions? How come Central Region and Northern Region indigenes have come to have a permanent seat on NDC tickets? This is a collusion not a coalition, in the sense that NDC is a conspiracy against A/R & E/R and in order to hide their true tribalistic posture will settle on low energy Fantis as soft Akans they can manipulate. And the Fantis are happy to play along. They are more interested in titles than achieving real significant progress for the good of all Akans. Just give them titles to shore up appearances, but they are in fact low-energy people in the words of Donald Trump. And I guess that works for Ewes, Gas and Northern Region indigenes who are desperate to divert significant portions of the national treasury to their regions whereas they contribute proportionately very small to the same.

In the end the tribalist Ewes and Gas have come to realize that the same formula of selecting only Fantis and NR indigenes for NDC tickets have practically closed themselves out. Fools vote against their own interest. Now you want to replace the Fanti. Too late my friends. Don't you dare to drop Amissah-Arthur for if you do the Fantis would show you their true colours as spoilers. They won't return the favour of you always supporting them to be on the NDC ticket.

Mahama should have enviaged this and smart on it just like Akuffo Addo. Akuffo Addo realized that there was going to be pressure on him from all angles, especially the old gurus and tribes. The Central region if you know the political history of Ghana very well especially during the Third Republican constitution you will realize it is a stronghold of the NDC.the region is not swing region in real terms,President Rawlings won the region two times before it somehow slipped into the hands of the NPP,the only time NPP won most seats in that region was in 2004 but since then it has reversed to the NDC in the las two elections,winning a region once while somebody or a party won it 5 times does not make that region a swing region.
When Reagan won most Democrat leaning states those states have never been called swing states,policies win elections though some states or regions will remain stronghold of political parties no matter what.
President Mahama is not a lawless person as Akuffo Addo,the president respects the structures of the party or the constitution which states the presidential candidate must be elected even if he stands unopposed,he was not a presidential nominee,there is a difference between a presidential candidate and a presidential nominee,you don't choose a running mate up until you become the nominee of your party,that is how it is practice all over the world including America that you and I live,the president is following what is right,what is done in the civilized world,you don't break the law because of a so called pressure from some idiots who don't represent all of us.

In politics, the Vice MUST NEVER overshadow the President. The Vice does things in the background in support of the President. As such, you can never hear much from him. Apart from that, the Vice cannot on his own do things. The President apportions duties to him. If the President fails to give him work, there is very little he can do.

So you block-headed people, shut up because you are out of your league in politics. It is not taking GH¢50.00 to vote is what is concerned here.

The Vice President is doing very well and must be retained - PERIOD!!

JJ's NDC never won any of the two elections. Gedemah tried through the ballot box to win an election but failed woefully. Kotoka, also had to use the gun, just like JJ did, to force himself on Ghanaians as head of state.

I am a voltarian, I am an akan, I am a northerner, I am a westerner and the rest has brought us nothing but infighting all the time. Guys remember two competent leaders are better than twenty ordinary leaders, where we come from doesn't matter but what one can do to change lives positively matters alot, all over our country,common drinking water is a thing people are still begging for. Please lets come together to provide solutions and stop relying always on politicians, what can we do in our own small way to develop our communities and raise it to the national level, pls solutions not insults
