I am glad Grant is not looking too far ahead because he has done nothing so far to earn him a secured or permanent position as our coach.With our stars slowing down with age and injuries we need someone who is farsighted enough to start the rebuilding process.And we all know that rebuilding the BS will start with good players from our local league augmented by highly excelling Ghanaian players from other leagues around the world.Dismissing our local boys and stigmatizing the local league is a nonstarter.If Mr.Grant want the job he must bring back the zeal he showed before he got the job.

Grant's previous interviews about other situations regarding the Black Stars, I knew he wouldn't make a premature statement like the headline implies. I just came here to read how far the editor of this article would spread false information. It's sad that people are insulting A. Grant and believing the lies written in this article. This sports section is pretty much a joke, most, if not all of the articles written here are cut and pasted from other Ghana sports media outlets. Grant clearly Stated, his focus is on now, how does that translate to Grant leaving the Black Stars?

In stead of dwelling on his output, some journalists prefer to make his off the field shortcomings a big issue. Yes he can be criticised for not staying in Ghana and watching the local lads. But his achievement after a short period in charge should be appreciated and criticisms must be even handed and constructive. I will understand very well if he leaves or do not renew his contract. He would be very much appreciated by another country and perhaps earn more. That will not be the first time a coach has left the Black Stars because of stupid and destructive criticisms from sections of the media and some ignorant and uninformed Ghanaians. That will be give the opportunity for the GFA to appoint a Ghanaian coach. It will give us another opportunity to see if only a Ghanaian coach is best for the Black Stars as some useless people continue to tell us.
