It's now a fact that there are some people within the NPP leadership criminally in bed with the NDC party, and Kufour himself has accepted that fact. There are NDC hired spies implanted in the NPP and its leadership to destroy the party's fortunes in the 2016 elections, and that must be investigated thoroughly and the perpetrators punished to set another milestone for our democratic dispensation.

This is the mother and father of all electoral malpractices that led to the removal of President Nixon from the White House and NPP should not sit idle by while some unscrupulous hired agents destroy the democratic will of the people of Ghana to choose their leaders freely and democratically. Contrary to what the discredited former EC Chairman said, this is another example of how elections are rigged far away from polling stations.

The NPP Constitution and its basic rules and regulations were in place and binding on all its members before some were elected to executive positions. So, being an elected executive doesn't mean that Afoko can't be disciplined according to the party's basic laws.

For instance, the president of Ghana is subject to the basic laws of Ghana, and if he flouted any of them, he could be impeached and removed from office even though he was elected by some Ghanaians. Also, President Nixon was removed from office because of his involvement in the Watergate Scandal.

Mr. Afoko was said to have been invited many times to defend and exonerate himself from the serious allegations leveled against him. But he failed to do so clinging to technicalities that did not help his course or that of the party, and the misconduct led to the application of the party's disciplinary rules against him. This is the Democracy and the rule of law that exist in the NPP party, and they show that nobody is above the law in the party.

Being the clueless politician that you're, you've no strategy for bringing your NPP under control for a common goal. Remember that if you are elected to the presidency, you are going to face atrocious external forces in the likes of Boko Haram, ISIS and many more. They will ply on the weaknesses of your own citizens.
