Even i know in Ghana a wayside electrition adding himself with a wayside mechanic and welderman can build this grid imported into Ghana but because Opana and his cohorts wanted to make fool of Ghanafo has to import this large and big generator given it a special name to Ghana and to pocket much money out of that.We are all marking time to watch what might come out that.

THE PROBLEM IS ON HOW TO STOP THE LEAKAGES IN POWER DISTRIBUTION. THE STEALING, ILLEGAL CONNECTIONS AND DIVERTING OF WIRING IS OUR PROBLEM FOR OUR TECHNOCRATS TO SOLVE. HOW DO WE OVERCOME THESE CHALLENGES?

Never heard there was a University of Energy. What have they been doing there ...the crisis presented a unique opportunity for them to prove their worth. What did we get from them ...zilch!! Now that the country has spent so much money to bring in all kinds of technologies to try to address the issue, you now get up to make noise. Look meaningful education is not just research, teaching and publications. It also includes lobbying, making your worth known, challenging the status quo, and offering alternative solutions even when no one want to listen - that is conviction. I am sick and tied of academics who keep their knowledge under their pillows and expect society to come begging them to disclose what they know. What has been this Academics contribution to solving the power crisis over the last 10 years?
