If you say the payments are statute barred, when did the clock start running? Did Mr. Tsikata and the other recipients of the payments go to court to demand the payments?. If you say the payments are statute barred, how many years lapse and you applying? I am not a lawyer but people like you make LAW look very cheap. Everybody in Ghana now knows that Mahama didn't have what it takes to lead a country like Ghana and has also failed to learn quickly on the job during the probation period. As a result, the country is now sinking and Ghanaians are facing unprecedented hardship because of his incompetence and corruption.

As for Esther Cobbah, if I were her, I would simply shut up to avoid further clinical analysis into her sordid past and as the wife of an ex-convict who not quite strangely, was also simultaneously paid with undeserved amounts from the accounts of the state institution - GNPC.

The very fact that the two of them are also high profile members of the create, loot and share party - the NDC, will not earn them enough sympathy in the public domain to meaningfully clear themselves from guilt.

If he has been in that supposedly August parliament for that long, let's say 5 terms, he has been fleecing the Ghanaian Government for over 1 million GHS in ESB/ EX GRATIA. I am really against continuing parliamentarians who have won their constituencies again enjoying any form of ESB/ EX GRATIA. This is what is making Parliamentarians fight tooth and nail, such as E.T MENSAH to be retained in parliament, even if they are non performing. In one breath he claimed to have documents to the effect that the conditions of service of the GNPC do not include end of service benefits and in another he started talking about statute-barred or statute of limitation. Mug of a lawyer or better 'kokoase' lawyer, if their was no entitlement according to the conditions of service, then whence is the law on debt claim being raised by the lawyers of GNPC? In any case these former employees had made contributions to the 'Provident Fund' and natural justice demands that they enjoy entitlements from these fund. In the meantime, under the watch of Drill Ship thief Tahir Hammond in 2001, GNPC staff who were asked to go home, were paid ESB computed at 3 months for every year they served. If according to these 'kokoase krachi' there was no ESB entitlement in the conditions of service of GNPC, why were those employees paid and why did Bald head chief thief Hammond and co denied these four ex-employees their due? NPP is just a holding pen of 'kokoase' lawyers, who are not fit for purpose. Eh by the way, have they furnished the EC with copies of the Togoless, Bokinabe and Ivorian voters' register? Why have they gone mumu? Jokers.
