This system was first developed in our country by elements close to Kwame Nkrumah and his political desire to build a cult personality just as we see today with Bawumia and before him JJ. Kojo Tsikata and his warped minded cronies and criminals from national security are the ones responsible as they designed and implemented the system. This is a system of Negative selection which doesnt allow our best to be called to serve rather prefers treacherous traitors , individuals of no morals or integrity all having perverse deviant character traits. In a corrupt society the undeserving , unqualified , incompetent with no empathy prosper while the opposite are marginalized , lynched or even killed as we have witnessed with Atta Mills, Acheampong , Ankrah and others. We mentioned the other day 2 sons of the Akans ( Kofi Anann and Sam Jonah) who invited to serve would turn the country around in less than a year but are no where on the political horizon talk less of being enabled to contribute anything positive to the nation. The truth be told we have over half a million (500,000) very highly qualified patriotic citizens from ALL tribes who can perform and are competent but they dare not raise their heads due to the vicious nature of The NDC , National security and other security agencies that have a strangle hold on the political climate. I advise all to verify these things i say and investigate the truth for themselves. Do we not have the likes of Daniel Tetteh ( a Ga in Databank), the sons of Dr agama (Ewes ) and countless Northerners with global achievement such as Baba Abu the banker? How come none of these well accomplished professionals have been thrown away to the roadside after all the investment our people have put in them? NDC is gone but the battle to bring things in order doesnt end there rather we need to remain vigilant and work to transform the politics by eliminating these useless remnants that have infiltrated every party. Mahama's treachery goes beyond incompetence as its only a symptom , the root cause is plain simple evil wickedness mixed with the retrogressive forces of his Islamic background. Corruption another symptom is part of the strategy to weaken the institutions of state , erase integrity and morals so we forever remain in this quicksand of poverty and backwardness . Incompetence implies amateurism , political illiteracy , ignorance etc but we say this is very deliberate as its supported by national security and other security agencies , practically all institutions of state are in compliance with the destruction or wanton looting of Akan wealth and future because they know its not theirs.To illustrate this point we will elaborate , imagine there is an ailing child that needs a heart operation or even simple appendix removal but pepeni president comes along and says i have the constitutional right to appoint the medical officer , so instead of appointing an experienced capable doctor he says my brother muslim pepeni is a butcher and knows how to cut flesh so he is appointed instead . Then the rest of us idiots are surprised and amazed when every time there is a patient things go wrong and there is death and misery all over the place. Then pepeni omanhene gets up and says npp vowed to make the country ungovernable so is to blame and sets all institutions of state to work at the destruction of the innocent npp. Now we return and all i say is just look at this govt and what do you really see , people deliberately in place who can never deliver , perform or do anything right in a thousand years, all of them sophisticated criminals posers and professional liars. The opposition we see is in a very sorry state as they have been infiltrated by these agent provocateurs , spies and sleepers . They cant even organise a simple house to house or door to door campaign due to internal sabotage and obstruction. We advise all decent citizens and Akans to continue the campaign individually to remove this evil NDC and make sure they dont even get 5% of the vote , then we shall see how the BNI will rig the elections for them. In our opinion any party not affiliated to the NDC is a good start and we shall make sure we dismiss 90% of the police force , BNI , national security and ministries civil service and replace them with more loyal ,patriotic and deserving citizens. A bad tree will always produce bad fruit such as we see with JJ and his offspring ashawo daughter who is only good for licking men's balls. Our advice especially to our diaspora is to avoid any family which supports NDC as they are nothing but gold diggers , fake users with no love in their hearts except interests. These ndc women all have one thing in common,irrational greed, no morals , no wisdom and no justice in their hearts just fine tuned in the art of lies and deceit.

Starting from J J to the lowest person they all made money in politics through dubious means.JJ is himself aware and can't come out honestly. Many of the NDC haven't worked in any department before entering politics. They want to be successful without sweating. Indeed their plans have worked. They are saying to themselves 'we are smart'. They know how to play the game. They know how to throw dust into people's eyes so that they can't see. They are so wise they have been able to implant shallow minded people in NPP so that whatever goes on in NPP is on their table and bring it out into public domain. They have been able to sow mistrust among members in NPP. Look at the outcome. We have people in NPP who deliver to bail us out of this mess we find ourselves in. It is only miracle that can save the situation because their cupboard are full of skeletons and don't want to leave the scene. They want to leave it to Kuffour ' s faction whom they are sure to manipulate to cover to end everything. The govt can negotiate with them. Those people are also corrupt therefore can cover them. There is no way that they can negotiate with Akuffo. They really fear him and therefore would not hand the power to him. They are ready to destroy him to the electorate. If you hear Dr. Baumann you would see he is an intelligent person who can help Akuffo to savage the economy. The person to salvage the economy must be corrupt - free man. Let us try Akuffo and see. My fear is that these people would spend anything to retain power to cover up to hand it to Kuffour faction for them to know that they are safe.

Mahama is a fool and there are plenty of reasons to support that. I will give you just two. An investor came in to put a hooping amount of $200 million into the Akwatia mines which Mahama refused but rather, gave it to a local investor who paid a paltry sum of $17 million but of the $17 million, that investor had paid only $3 million with only God knows when the balance will be paid. Make sense to you isn't it?

Now, if you can buy an item for just $250, will you rent that same item for a $1000? We need people with commonsense to rule and that is why Mahama is just useless. He is too daft to lead.

Secondly, I like Paa kwesi Nduom's PPP but I am weary of him because I hear he is a CIA agent, and how that is true, I don't know. We are told his real name is : Ekow Yorke and so on and so forth.... maybe, it is an attempt to soil his reputation, we may never know. But as for NDC and NPP, I prefer none but have allegiances for the latter and pretends to love the former. They are worms and can't fix Ghana, and I mean the former but as for the latter they can but the self - important personalities are to many for me not to be afraid of what may befall us all, once we give power to my favourite but dangerous choice. The Vice-Presidential candidate of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is comparing the economy under the previous NPP government and the current NDC government.

He says every aspect of the economy has plummeted despite the availability of oil revenues which the Kufuor government did not have the benefit of.

He is comparing sector by sector and insisting that the NPP government did extremely better compared to the NDC government.

Dr. Bawumia points out serious economic challenges such as the cedi’s depreciation, energy crisis, slowed economic growth, reduce investments in capital projects, etc.

Government has presented over 10 budets. Minority leader puts it at 17. He says all the budgets promised a better Ghana but nothing has been achieved.

The latest economic mantra of the 2016 budget is to Change Lives. He says government has lost touch with the realities. He maintains the economy is deformed and not reformed Ghana.

You cannot use propaganda to run the economy. Government has delivered one of the worst economic performances since 1957.

The NDC government’s economic performance is a “record of monumental waste of an historic opportunity to transform the economy”.

He says comparisons between NPP economic trackrecord and NDC’s is proof of his claims.

The NPP inherited a GDP growth rate of 3.7% in 2000.

In 2001 under NPP, GDP growth was 4.3%

In 2002 it was 4.5%

In 2003, it wa 5.3%

In 2004 it was 5.7%

In 2005 it was 5.9%

In 2006 it was 6.6%

In 20078 it was 8.4%. This is indeed steady growth and it occurred without revenue from oil.

Under the NPP, the total value of the economy grew from 5.1 to 28.5bn dollars, representing 500% growth even in the face of a global economic crisis in 2007. Ghana was transformed from a low income to a middle-income economy.

In 2009, the economy grew by 7.4%

In 2012, it declined to 8.8%

2014, further down to 4.1%

2015 provisional figures put growth at 4.1%

For the first time since oil production, oil-fueled GDP is higher than non-oil GDP.

Agriculture

Although agriculture grew to 5.3% in 2014it was largely because of logging activities to the detriment of crop and animal farming.

One of the reasons Agriculture is suffering is because of low budgetary allocation. It was 3% of the budget allocated in 2009

In 2012 it went down to 1.9%

In 2013 it went down to 1.03%

And in 2015 to 1.1% of the budget was allocated to both Agric and Fisheries ministries. This is a “paltry allocation” despite convention Ghana has signed on, promising to devote 6% of its budget to Agriculture.

Real growth in agricultures was 0.8% in 2011 and 0.04% in 2015. “We are at the rock bottom. Crops got negative growth.

Food imports were $600m in 2008 but have risen to $1.5bn in 2014. The country is on the brink of a serious shortage in the supply of maize.

Crop production was projected at 5.8% in 2015 and later reviewed 4.1% but the actuals is -1.1%.

Cocoa production

Mass spraying high-tech seeds during the NPP administration doubled cocoa production from 341,000 metric tonnes to 737,000 metric tonnes in 2003-2004 and one million tonnes in 210 to 2011.

There is a special agricultural import levy on basic farm inputs. “This was unbelievable” it increased the cost of farming and the cost of food.

The poor who spend 60% of incomes on food they were hard hit by the increase in food prices. Government later dropped the levy.

In 2014 and 2015 about 180,000 metric tonnes of subsidized fertilizers were allocated by government but was not fully implemented.

There are about 3,000 farmers to one extension officer while the international standard is 500 farmers to one. The extension officers in Ghana are inching towards retirement without any clear plan to replace them.

Although smart phones were desperately supplied to extension officers if transport hurdles are not addressed it will amount to nothing.

Youth in Agriculture program is a typical destruction of policy focus, he says because the yields are low, the beneficiaries are party supporters who walk way without paying for the monies they received.

What exactly have they been transforming if Agricuture and manufacturing sectors have recorded abysmal growth.

Ghana could not achieved even one of the criterion for the third conecutive year in the push for a common currency in ECOWAS.

For the second successive year, the Finance Ministry has refused to publish Ghana’s standing in ECOWAS because it will show Ghana’s “smoothness level” among other West frican economies.

For three successive years Ghana has double-digit budget deficit.

The 6.5% target of GDP deficit which the NDC criticised the NPP government is now the level which the NDC government wants to attain

Public debt

By 2008 total debt was 9.5billion Ghana cedis. In the last seven years under NDC it is now 99 billion Ghana cedis. About 45billion of this is domestic debt.

About 90% of Ghana’ debt since independence has been accumulated under the NDC government. Mahama said 41% was accumulated by the NPP since independence.” I really coundn’t believe my ears. I though I misheard” To be mild this is not true. By 2008 it had decliend

As a result of NPP’s HIPC initiative Ghana debt which was $6.1billion in 2000 declined to 3.8 billion dollars by 2008.

Assume that exchange is 1cedi to 1 dollar today, if you borrow a 100 cedis the equivalent is 100 dollars.

If the exchange rate goes down, it means 100 dollars can be 25 cedis. But you cannot say you borrowed 25 cedis. It is 100 dollars you borrowed.

72% of external debt stock was accumulated during the last seven years.He says interest payment is five times the budgetary allocations of Ministries of Road, Trade and Industry and at least two more ministries.

Yet government is planning further Euro bonds

Interest payment is six times Ghana’s oil revenue in 2015 because of government’s reckless borrowing. He described government’s borrowing spree as going for a microfiance loan which is more expensive to pay for a bank loan which is comparatively cheaper and yet government feels no shame

Energy crisis

He reads a government statement that promised 300MW by October 2012. At the October 4 launch of the NDC Manifesto they said load-shedding would be the ting of the past. They promised 5,000 MW by 2015. Currently we produce less than 2,000MW. Mahama promised to export power.

Mahama said during IEA debate defined loadshedding as supply exceeding demand. Outages is problems of unexpected light outs cuased by problems such as loaded transformers.

At IEA, Mahama described loadshedding as an act of God. A ship anchor damaged the pipeline in 2012 hence the need for loadshedding. Loadshedding will end mid-November 2012.

820 new MW will be added in 2013 and loadshedding will be a thing of the past by the end of my first year, Mahama said.

New deadline was that it will end in May 2013. Mahama said in December 2013 that energy crisis has been solved but Ghanaians are not thanking him. Then Energy Minister asked Ghanaians to pray for rains. Later the Power Minister promised to end ‘dumsor’ by December 2015

Mahama has said the dumsor is not a money problem. Then later he said dumsor will end if we are prepared to pay more for power. In November 2014, he promised that dumsor will end before the elections in 2016.

Bawumia says Ghana would spend 225million dollars if we bought the barge. He refers to ACEP assessment that it will cost us $1bn in 10 years of using the barge. We could have built a 1000MW plant.

“This really does not make sense”

Government owes ECG, VRA while the two owes other stakeholders in the power sector Ghana owes Nigeria $180million.

How much of the huge borrowings have been invested into the power sector. He suggested dumsor is not a priority. Government is also in denial. For the NDC, dumsor is not an economic issue it is a political issue.

He says solving dumsor has not been a priority for government. It will only become a priority as we get close to elections.

Ghana has committed with the IMF to increase the tariffs. The so-called public consultations by PURC are a sham.

Government would lay off workers after the 2016 elections. By December 2015, the plan to lay-off will be ready and after 2016, the size of the civil service will be rationalized, Bawumia quoted an IMF document.

He demands the rationalization plan should be public and transparent to the Ghanaian people.

Increase in capital gains, withholding tax, re-imposition of excise duty, new energy tax and a mitigation levy into the pricing formula for utilities.

The 2016 budget is the same as the 2012 election budget in the way allocations have been done. The Administration sector has been increased for election purposes while other productive sectors have reduced budget allocations.

According to IMF most of government borrowing has been used for consumption not development

He said government has been bloating projects

A runway rehabilitation in Kumasi cost 23.8million dollars but a whole new aerodrome at Ho will cost 25million dollars

Was the runway in Kumasi paved with gold?

He says Ghanaians are finding new ways to describe Mahama since he does not want to be described as incompetent.

He says Mahama’s government is competent at mismanaging the economy

They are very competent at creating looting and sharing

This government is very competent propaganda, competent at perpetuating dumsor

Competent at collapsing NHIS, cancellation of teacher trainee allowances, competent at failing to honour statutory payments, competent at not paying contractors and making SADA Guinea fowls run to Burkina Faso.

And most importantly, it is very competent at failing to deliver its promises.

He says Mahama is upset at being described incompetent but appears to have accepted that his government is corrupt

Mahama has created toxic mixture of incompetence and corruption

The Senchi accord trumpeted by government has been ignored. The government no longer talks about it. Mahama denied going to IMF but he eventually went. He has lost credibility.

It is time to change this government. It is time to build a globally competitive economy.

NPP will make the economy the most business friendly in Africa. He says NPP will pass a fiscal responsibility act to ensure government is bound to be accountable and responsible.

Government will deepen good governance by pushing for the election of DCE and the separation of the Attorney-General from the Ministry of Justice. NPP will implement a national ID and a debit card so that once you have a national ID you will also have a bank account. It will help move Ghana to a cashless economy.

The NPP will also set up an Independent Value For Money Unit

There will be a reduction of corporate tax from 25% to 20%. Abolish VAT on financial services and real estate sales and reduce withholding taxes to 2008 levels.

He says the minimum of 19 cents on international calls is “stone-age” and the cause of SIM Box Fraud and allow the market to determine the price.

NPP will remove all import duties on raw materials and spare parts and reduce capital gains tax.

NPP will restore teacher and nursing training allowances. Government will also make agriculture a “money-making business”.

NPP will set up the Afram Plains Agric Development Authority and the Accra Plains Irrigation project.

The Tema Oil Refinery should not be reduced to a storage facility for the oil distribution companies. NPP will set up the Zongo Development Fund as we promised in the 2012 manifesto and set up a fund to grow the arts and entertainment industry.

It is difficult to become a doctor or lawyer in Ghana than in the US. Yet Ghana imports doctors from Cuba who can’t speak English

“We have to make Ghana a land of opportunity not a land of obstacles”. He system is a ‘Pull Him Down system that must be crashed. Ghana under NPP will never enter into an IMF program.

There is a problem I am looking at from present crop of technocrats, which has nothing to do with paper degrees some one has. Degrees should be seen as an essential means to improve lives base on the foundamental acquisitions of knowledges in various forms. For instances MBA. Masters of business administration. Meaning people with these titles should be able to manage companies, institutions and corporations to it fruition. If a person with that calibre exist in Ghana, they should be abe to organise, create and implement society to economic viability.

Why can't these academic book jargons do these for our country? Instead jumping into politics, thinking they can talk tbeir way into economic success of the nation. We blacksmiths, carpenters, labourers and other craftmen. We just need the educated to organise monies floating in wrongful hands for meaningful ventures for the nation to grow in developments. They are wasting monles on bentley that could brake down anyway. Just bring your academic respect to organise for development to happen while showing integrity, manners, sincerity. I blame the government for not being able to articulate or motivate the rich for these things.

we could have our made in Ghana ski boats, sophisticated canoes, easy to use farm equipments and tools from various companies as other nations are doing mm for their economics. Even the universities and polytechniques can join the challenge for their own well being to preserve foreign currencies. This is what I understood from Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, our first president. You might not like Dr Bawumia but you can't deny the fact that NDC government has woefully failed the nation. NPP enacted the national health insurance policy. That was a progressive policy that eased the burden on people. Tell Ghanaians one progressive policy the NDC government has enacted. Ghanaians are aware of Kuffour transport. These guys in office know only one thing; "stealing"

If he is a true and pure politician why not contribute to help solve the Ghanaian economy crisis? What achievement at all is he noted for so far as economy analysis is concern? What has he himself done to upgrade our economy and want us to trust him and Akufo Addo? This hypocritical politics must stop. He is not better than any Ghanaian, so he should give us a break. The fact that kuffour did something good some years back does not mean Nana can do same thing, we are all different individual with different abilities from God, nobody was made perfect, Bawumia should give us a break. What competent records does he has, I think when criticising someone he should say I DID THIS AND THAT SO I CAN DO THIS AND THAT.. this is what Ghanaians are looking for but not hypocritical attack. THE FACT THAT YOU CAN TALK DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN DO IT. these are the people if voted into power and can't deliver turn out to say THE ECONOMY WAS DESTROYED BY NDC...
