  Why did the tax officers in Kumasi looked on since 2001 to date before demanding her tax? This exercise should have been done every year to avoid such accumulations. Please don't blame the trader.

  Do not worry her , collect Woyome and reverse GNPC payments before disturbing her.......What about tax officers who collect money from traders and cancel /reduce their tax bills.....

  Asking a trader to pay income tax, one would ask about other private workers who sell local products that do not pas through the Ports to pay tax as this woman does.

  Asking a trader to pay income tax, one would ask about other private workers who sell local products that do not pas through the Ports to pay tax as this woman does.
  Very sad to write such a woman depends upon the profit she makes on the sale of her goods to 1. feed her family 2.send her kids to school.3.pay her rent, 4. pay her 'dumsor' light bill 5. pay her 'dry' water bills, 6. pay hospital fee and medicine if any family member is ill, 7. pay her transport to and from work, 8.take care of her frail mother and father who are not working and still alive,9. pay donations to bereaved friends and family, 10. buy clothes for her children, herself, frail mother and father and feed them. HOW MUCH WOULD REMAIN FOR HER TO PAY TAX THAT these semi-educated, tax misfit collectors to take her to Court AND FOR these EQUALLY semi-educated, law misfit judges to send her to jail instead of THE JUDGES ASKING THESE USELESS REVENUE COLLECTORS WHETHER THEY HAVE DONE THEIR WORK WELL as listed above AND RATHER SEND THE REVENUE COLLECTORS TO JAIL for causing FINANCIAL LOSS TO THE STATE AND HARM TO ITS CITIZENS.
  Had these whimp tax collectors done their work well that they are least knowledgeable of, Ghana would be a lovely place to live and work. In fairness, the woman trader should be acquitted and revenue collectors told to do their work properly.
  HOW MANY TIMES HAVE THEY SENT TAX FORMS TO THE TRADER TO FILL AND RETURN TO THEIR OFFICE THAT SHE HAS FAILED? and what help have the Officers given to the trader to work out her tax to pay if he is illiterate? Does she have to pay an Accountant for this subsistent work? Then how much will remain to pay tax on as profit? LORD! WE HAVE A PROBLEM IN GHANA AND AFRICA! COME AND SAVE US FROM IGNORANCE AND STUPIDITY?
  SOME PEOPLE(politicians) ARE CHOPPING GHANA'S GOLD,OIL,DIAMOND MONEY IN MILLIONS, THEY ARE NOT ASKED TO ACCOUNT FOR THEM, GHANAIANS TOILING TO MAKE ENDS MEET ARE TAKEN TO COURT TO PART WITH WHAT THEY DONT HAVE. Not God will punish them but Satan will.
