  Sorry the sentence is quite harsh since there was no assault involved and there was no use of any weapon in the robbery but it serves him right. If he had cooperated with the investigators and named his co criminals, he could have got a lesser sentence. These are the little robbers who grow to become armed robbers. 15 years at Nsawam or any other prison in Ghana is no joke. He will learn the hard way.

  Ocran chose not to mention his accomplices and they just let him go? The police should have tortured this idiot until he named his accomplices. Maybe we should bring waterboarding to Ghana for limited use on people like Ocran if we are serious about wiping out armed robbery. Then one day we can waterboard John Mahama to reveal where he logged all the stolen monies from the national coffers.
