Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. “Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”

“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”

He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”

“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”

“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”

Who told you she invited Nana Akuffo Addo? I don't know about your Ewe culture concerning funerals but we don't invite people to funerals but make general appeal to the public to come and help the family to bid final farewell to the departed.

Even when head of the family visit the President and informs him or her about the death of somebody, they don't invite him or her to come to the funeral, they leave the decision for attending to him. Funeral is not a party where invitation cards are sent out.

There was nothing that prevented Ndc officials from attending that service. If they did not go to the funeral, it was not because they were not invited. We don't send invitation cards to individuals to attend a funeral. If you hear the announcement on radio, TV or on a flyer, that is your invitation to attend if you want to. Nobody send individual invitation cards to individuals to attend funerals.

Yaw, I cannot argue with you about what happens in UK since I don't live there but what you are saying also goes on in USA but those cards I have received in my mail or emails does not actually invite you to attend funerals but rather informs you about the death and when the funeral for such a person is going to be held. You will not see the words 'YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND'.

It is against the norms and morality of Akans to invite people to attend funerals.

The media has deliberately omitted this important information from us, which is a big disservice to Ghanaians. It has gargantuan implications if we all understand that Nana Agyeman-Rawlings is after all a Krobo but not Ashanti.
