Imagine that one of the lifts broke down which users were in it. That would have meant then 'certified' death - suffocation. If they were luck to have survivied, they would be traumatized for the rest of their lives, especially for the caustrophobics (people who are scared of small, closed places) amongst them.

Amozey, Ghana has become what it is now because of the mindest of people like you.

NO! So why must there be a mosque (a place of worship for moslems ) in the office complex.

As an office complex, maximum silence should be guaranteed, so the provision of a place of worship in Job600 is fundamentally wrong.

If the muslims amongst the MPs want to worship, I assume there are some mosques around Osu, so why should we give them preferential treatment and give them a mosque in Job600?

One of such persons was Mr Norman Balchin who was the clerk of works. This individual was also assigned as clerk of works at the korrle by hospital building, peduase lodge, Tetteh Quashie hospital , flagstaff house , Accra international airport , ridge hospital and many more of nkrumahs projects. He was one of very few who excelled in their jobs. Many of those project still stand the test of time today. So it's such a shame to read millions spent on buildings which within months are falling to bits. Who was responsible and the clerk of works. The clerk of works duty is even more important than the architect as its his responsibility to ensure the highest level of quality materials are used

what followed was almost six months of phone calls from the consultant, contractor, chinese management, etc. all of them telling us that they don't trust the others and we should only deal with them directly and all of them asking for their cut.

it was always a great comedy to have them on the phone and we did not supply them anything in the end.

Am sure that the components that they needed our stuff for will soon fall off. :-)

First of all you have to query the Consultants hired to supervise the project. They must have given the contractor a certificate of completion after inspecting and satisfying themselves that everything is in place and functioning. Now a number of issues could have put this exercise into jeopardy. Political pressure, kickbacks to the managers who would force the consultant to pass the work even if it is not ready. Etc. Now for the mosque, Muslims pray 5 times a day in congregation if possible, while Christians do not have to congregate in daily prayers. But there is a multi purpose space for any congregation if need be. There you go.
