IT WAS PURELY ON THE ECONOMY AND THE MAN POINTED OUT TO HIM THE FEELING OF HOPELESSNESS AND DESPONDENCY ON THE PART OF GHANAINS UNDER HIS INEPT & CORRUPT NDC GOVERNMENT. THE JOURNALIST WAS A WHITEMAN!!! HE DOES NOT LIVE IN GHANA!!! BUT COME TO GHANA, WE HAVE OVER 80 MINISTERS REPRESENTING VARIOUS SECTORS OF THE ECONOMY. THIS SO CALLED RADIO PRESENTERS AND JOURNALISTS ARE UNABLE TO CALL THEM AND ASK THEM RELEVANT QUESTIONS AS TO HOW THE COUNTRY IS MOVING FORWARD OR BEING DESTROYED, THEY PREFER TO CALL ASIEDU NKETIA, KOKU ANYIDOHO, ANITA DE SOSO, AKUA DONKOR OR KOFI ADAMS TO ASK THEM WHOM THEY HAVE MANAGED TO INSULT IN THE NPP. LOOK!!! 4 YEARS OF DUMSOR, THE CEDI HAS TAKEN A NOSE-DIVE, NDC STEALING OUR MONIES, MASS UNEMPLOYMENT, UNPAID WAGES AND SALARIES: --- BUSINESSES, NHIS, MASS COCOA SPRAYING, SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAM ETC. All discernible Ghanaians know that NDC doesn't have what it takes to solve the challenges facing Ghana. P/NDC usurped power from Liman and wasted 20 years of our national life without any tangible results before NPP came and improved the situation dramatically.

Unfortunately, the NDC party was given another chance in 2009 with new oil revenue to try again, but the result so far has been HIPIC, Domsor, low production, unprecedented corruption, currency depreciation, over-taxation, unprecedented hardship and hunger with another "Rawlings' chain".

NDC should therefore be shown the door come 2016 with a promise not to ever come back again.

Stop this mentality and check yourselves before making moves which never foster unity but instead causes anxiety thus leaving us always in the limbo.

this man should ask himself if any road in the country is worth paying toll for. All you contractors do is buy TUNDRA"s when awarded contracts and rest you do shoddy work.

Another financial burden on Voltarians, looking at the number of tolls fees you need to pay between Accra and Ho, through Juapong,a distance of 165kms as compared to tolls paid Between Accra and other regions. Three tolls booths between a distance of 165kms. This needs some consideration, especially the toll at Afienya which has no purpose. Meanwhile, for the past ten years, there has been no considerable improvement in the condition of the road within this distance. Voltarians, do not be oblivious of this fact. Let's wake up. This is clarion call for the coming months decision making.

The last time my family was in Ghana, my then 13 year old questioned why they keep collecting money from drivers at the tolls if they are not going to fix the roads.

Will that foolishness stop? We had travelled all the pot hole infested road until we got to Amasaman and there! there was and again another toll. I paid the toll and my 13 year boy queried, " why are they collecting money if they are not going to fix the roads? Mr. Ebo must answer my boy.

If Ghanaians want world-class road services they must be prepared to pay so that contractors can provide that level of service. Moreover, the bargaining power of roadsters increases with the toll paid. ?ame as with electricit ...

As low as he says the tolls are, the Toll Clerks still keep dipping their kleptomania hands in them to shortchange the Nation.

That shows the extent to which our corruption has seeped into our Society. The Clerks would sometimes take payments without issuing receipts and pocket the money, and the drivers fail to ask for receipts. Some take lesser fees from the drivers without matching receipts, too. The drivers think these thieving Clerks are doing them a favor for charging them less than the stipulated Toll, so they in turn pass without asking for the receipts.

Some of the Clerks also simply let their friends and family pass without paying.

All these are because these Tolls where such incidents occur are not fully automated to count and record the traffic to match the tally against monies collected.

That is Ghana for us. We do things half-way, so that we would always have some room left for corruption. Even our Democracy still lingers on without the full application of the Laws that guarantee the basic tenets of such a system. We still rely on manual processing for most of our vital data across the board, leaving ourselves still highly vulnerable to fraud and distortions.

Court documents still keep missing mysteriously when needed to adjudicate cases. And culprits are let to on technicalities.

Government Officials can lie to high heavens because we do not have the documentary trail to prove them wrong.

The only aspects of our Democracy that seem to be functioning in any appreciable form are:

1). our freedom to vote for some stupid Politician that can pay his way to the desired position;
2). our freedom of speech by with we can insult almost everybody, especially, in the media, without any repercussions.

Oh, Ghana!!
