The EC and many other institutions in Ghana are not beyond suspicion and most of the aggrieved who cry foul have genuine cases against them. Long years of dictatorship and undemocratic governments have contributed immensely in destroying these institutions since independence.

As a result, the EC is very corrupt and does not have professional and democratic culture needed to conduct free and fair elections devoid of the usual electoral malpractices. Both the winners and losers know this fact, but the communist relics and dictators have been benefiting from the statuesque since independence, and they are already in bed with the EC to rig the 2016 elections.

I am a tall young bared headed man. I have lost the chance of getting a grey hair through a thick cumulous wee smoke I entered during one of my nocturnal visit to a wee smoking old man whom I share a common dream with.

I have strong common characteristics with this old man and some uncommon ones too. Consider the following:

We have both lost our fathers ( Mine died peacefully whilst the old man’s father died a criminal.

Our fathers were Politician’s Mine is a honest man in a very prestigious political party whilst the old man’s father was a thief and a traitor in an extremist party.

We all studied economics in school - I hold a doctorate degree in economics whilst the old man has 3rd grade bachelor’s degree.

I have certificates and work experience but the old man has nothing to prove his academic qualification apart from being a minister of state.

The dreams of our fathers are very similar that we shall one day become head of state of Ghana.

I have good experience in money laundering which is clearly manifested during the redenomination exercise of the country currency something in common with the old man’s father. This motivated the old wee smoker to offered me a hand shake to be partners in crime to fight a course of ruling the people at all cost..

The Ganja old man is skilful in narcotics whilst I am skilful in manipulating a balance sheets . After much deliberations which I will tell you later; we agreed to run on a ticket of a certain Acid party to loot big time. Since we have all dissipated the resources bequeathed to us by our parents.

I have tried my best by lying much as per the advice of the Ganja old man, I have been to the Mecca to throw a stone at the devil to pave the way for me, However during my stone throwing the devil threw a bigger stone which I had to ran away to save my dear life. The devils stone killed many. I then reviewed my strategy to visit every mosque. Unfortunately the Ganja old man has caused a sacrilege by easing himself on the mosque “Eeeeeiiiii Opanyin Bon” I shouted Allah will punish you I said.

Little did I know that this act of sacrilege is the doom of our dreams. I am afraid of my Moslem brothers to enter the Christian church too as they have large followers . It is unfortunate that all my efforts have been in vain. I have lied and professed falsely against all credible state institutions just earn some following but all to no avail this is my last chance since I have no other job than the peanut coming from a benevolent Christian pastor. “EGYA M3KA …MEDI NKWASEAS3M"

There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

Why is many of the citizens crying for work, crying they cannot continue to pay their bills which the gorvernment keeps increasing with no increase to the pay structure and cost of living going up every day. Students coming out of the universities without no jobs. Workers being laid off and cannot take care of the families and talk about good works. Mahama is fooling us with good works with all money going to himself and his buddies of the NDC and the citizen are crying with no one listening. Now Ghana is become a country of thieves with people from Neighboring countries coming in to do as they wish and nobody stands to prevent them from coming in. Highway robbers from different country training our citizens to be like them.Rapist raping young boys and girls and our women. Even robbers goes out to rob and rapes our sisters and mothers. OWURAKU AMOFA, former Deputy Minister of Tourism in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government has made mockery of Prof. Mills' hopes of winning the December 7 polls.

Mr. Amofa, who recently returned from his USA base to cross carpet to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has predicted doom for Prof. Mills in the upcoming polls.

The ex-NDC guru, in an interview with Kessben FM in Kumasi, stated that the NDC flagbearer will lose for the third time this year.

He stated that Nana Akufo-Addo, the NPP presidential candidate would win the polls hands down, insisting the NPP flagbearer was the best for the country.

Mr. Amofa categorically stated that the writing was clearly on the wall for all including NDC members to see that a third time loss awaited the Law professor.

He wondered aloud why the NDC should present Prof. Mills again as its flagbearer when he has been rejected twice by the electorate, saying “this act shows that the NDC does not respect the views of the electorate, hence their desire to impose Prof. Mills on us”.

According to him he had never supported Prof. Mills' bid for the presidency, disclosing that issue caused a fracas between him and the party's founder Jerry John Rawlings in 2000.

“I vehemently resisted NDC's decision to present Prof. Mills as its flagbearer in 2000 and this did not go down well with Mr. Rawlings, culminating in my exit from the party,” he noted, adding, “the Mills and John Mahama pair for this year too would not work”.

He indicated that he took that decision in 2000 because he knew for sure that Prof. Mills did not possess the exceptional qualities expected in a president of the state, insisting, he (Amofa) has never regretted quitting the NDC.

On what prompted his decision to join the NPP, Mr. Amofa said “the President Kufuor administration has done extremely well in all aspects of the economy as compared with the NDC era, hence my decision to join the ruling party”.

He added that the firm foundation laid by the NPP government to ensure a rapid and effective economic take-off of the country needed an astute, experienced, patriotic, visionary and hard working person like Nana Akufo-Addo to steer affairs.

Mr. Amofa implored the electorate to follow his shining example by putting aside their political affiliation and shunning all other influences “and for once tell the truth for the betterment of Mother Ghana”.

“It is clear that Nana Addo stands tall among the eight presidential aspirants in the polls, therefore we should be bold and say it to take the country to the desired level that we all anticipate.”

Mr. Amofa who is an Akyem just like Nana Akufo-Addo, denied that ethnicity influenced his decision to join the NPP, saying “Nana Addo has been my great political rival since 1996 but the fact is, for now, he is the best to lead Ghana to prosperity and nothing else”.

“I have joined the NPP because I am a patriotic citizen of the country and I want to see Ghana in affluence and it is only Nana Addo who can lead the country to attain that,” he concluded.
