There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

Where were you when JJ Rawlings was put in guardroom and his young wife was in a state of confusion, where were you when her father sacrificed his life for the revolution ? Is that how you people a ungrateful and does JJ Rawlings deserve this in his own party? I think if you can't take it just leave the party because none of you people contributed a dime to the formation of the ndc. NDC is Rawlings own bonafide property and nobody else so nobody has the audacity to challenge his daughter with that bogus charges. If you hate his wife, its the help of that woman that you are a member of that party called ndc. What about if they decided not to form a party but will leave it to all citizens to form their parties where will you people be ? NDC didn't come from the sky like manner, it was the handy work of Rawlings and you just can't frustrate his own daughter because somebody is using their party to chop. I wish he will campaign against ndc for the party to be in opposition for him to grab it and sack all those greedy bastards who are using his party as conduit of corruption and stealing from the state. Dr Rawlings don't mind them, they see you as a threat who is going to straighten things up for your party to be attractive to decent people who are self made already.
