My fears are that this corrupt system is going to keep on impacting the lives of the "have nots" by indicating that with money to bribe your way in the judicial system, you can sodomize any one---even bonk the butt-hole of any little girl ---and go scot -free---no questions asked!

Determined to catch this bus, she once more reached behind her, lowered the zip a little and attempted to climb aboard. Then suddenly she felt two hands on her butt, helping her on to the bus. Courts all over the world hold due process in legal matters to the highest test. Due process in our law requires the alleged sodomite and rapist, Asamoah Gyan, to appear before a competent Justice of the Superior court to defend himself against the rape and sodomy charges.

The fact that Ghana's Attorney General, herself a woman for that matter, who has sworn an oath to uphold the wheels of justice no matter where it leads to, should have the temerity to strike Sara Cobbla's rape case is a complete dereliction of duty.

I am truly saddened by the action of the Attorney General, Drew-Oppong. It is so embarrassing as far as Ghana's legal system is concerned, and because of this single act of protecting the alleged rapist and sodomite, Asamoah Gyan, this woman AG will go down in history as the most incompetent and reckless AG in Ghana's history. Allegation of rape and sodomy is a capital offence and the state has a responsibility to exercise due process in law to protect both Asamoah Gyan and his accuser, Sara Cobblah.

Due process of law according to our constitution prohibits our government from unfairly depriving individuals of their basic constitutional rights to life, liberty, and property. Sara Cobbla is a citizen of Ghana, so is Asamoah Gyan, and each of them has the inalienable right as a citizen of Ghana to seek justice under the law in case of Sara Cobblah, and Asamoah Gyan as an accused has inalienable right to defend himself under the law. Ghana is a country of laws, and in this case the wheel of justice must be set in motion to provide both Sara and Asamoah protection under the law.
