When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. When they use projections or figures from World Bank or IMF, I query, 'why should Bretton Woods institutions be the benchmark for the way our economy is doing?'. Some of the Bretton Woods institutions' programmes have been the bane of many economies around the world. Even in Ghana, their programmes during the Rawlings and Kwesi Botchwey era sent us to HIPIC. Even though Ghana currently is in the bottomless pit with sovereign loans, they still encourage us to take more and offer us grants as well. They love to get us into such economic climate as that boosts their economies and redound to the profits of their surrogate multinational cooperations. A famous World Bank President once stated that, giving grants help not the third world , but the US. Bawumiah knows what he's talking about. Besides, these government functionaries should also listen to other institutions and academics who hold divergent views from the Bretton Woods institutions.

Mr. Rickets spoke about the world at large with economic growth of 4.1 percent for Ghana which Mr. Awuah never disputed. Even the energy crisis that NPP and its gurus have been singing with Ghana still stands tall in most of sub Saharan Nations in energy supply. Our problem as nation is that when some people are not in power they will do everything to drag Ghana's name into the mud. I was in east Africa, in both Kenya and Tanzania and I just let Ghana 2 weeks ago. I try to compare our energy and water situations but you will not believe it, Ghana is far ahead as water and energy is concerned. When some Ghanaians are shouting on the media the try to create an impression that there is no more Ghana, that Ghana is finished. that is unfortunate.

There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

All the NPP dimwits and Dr. Bawumia worshippers including NPP Dr. Bafour should answer this question: why must Dr. Bawumia compare Ghana's economy to the economy of any West African nation if he did not have to take global economic trends into account? For starters, Nigeria have had years of infrastructure development thanks to its oil money prior to the recent collapse of oil prices. In fact Nigeria built a new capital, created an arts and entertainment industry most of Ghana's wannabe go to practice their skills. Nigeria has a host of business startups and flourishing businesses that started with oil money they have enjoyed for decades. That is not to say there are no serious environmental damages that will come to bear in the near future. If corruption is any measure, the new Nigerian President will not be going after corruption if there was none in Nigeria. The economies of other West African nations has not been sold off like we did in Ghana where every God given mineral and natural resources have been sold for pitons by our classroom educated but ignorant legislators, judiciary and all. If NPP’s Kufour and NDC’s Rawlings did not see any wisdom in saving Ghana Telecom and others to be managed and owned by Ghana because a bunch of presumed unqualified and incapable Ghanaians as a whole why compare our service type economy to production and manufacturing economy based nations?

Dr. Bawumia and or no one can change Ghana's economy in isolation and the folly of making Ghana business friendly is for the birds. Just sell Ghana to our colonial masters and get it over already because in the end the people who are to invest in Ghana via foreign direct investments (FDR) are foreigners who will seek concessions from government on anything that may impact the level of profits they anticipate and to hell with any environmental damages and other human collateral damages they may come along the way in a nation of bankrupt citizens.
