As President of the country, if he considers the media interpretation of the report to be false, he should have gone further to provide what he considers to be the right interpretation.

Just saying its "false", "it is absolutely false", "we reject it completely" does not change the perception of the international community about Ghana's corruption ranking. Sir, defend your country with facts, not mere denial and rejection of the report.

That cannot be the case and cannot be acceptable. The fact is the unbridled and unmitigated love and religious adherence to everything corrupt solely and singly by John Dramani Mahama and his NDC gov't and gov't alone, throughout their almost 8 years in gov't since 2009, has earned Ghana, another record setting and unenviable position and accolade as the numero uno of everything corrupt in West Africa and numero dos on the whole of the African continent.
It is the achievement of John Mahama and him alone and his looting NDC gov't and he should not, repeat not, attempt to rope the rest of Ghanaians into his army of corrupt looters bankrupting this country into the pits.
The John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't is the most corrupt administration in West Africa and the second most corrupt in Africa and instead of John Mahama trying to spread that religiosity of his corruption around, he should deal with it because the law courts are dealing albeit in their own way with corrupt Ghanaians and corrupt magistrates.
We don't want to believe he has forgotten what the Founder of their own party has said concerning his love for corruption and that has gained a cult following in his NDC party. We hope the short memory syndrome has not caught up with him. Likewise we hope he has not forgotten the words of their own National Security advisor on the corruption in his gov't to mention but a few.

It appears the government has reached its wits end in the fight against this canker. How many of the identified corruption cases has your government been able to prosecute in the law courts. Even those agents of corrupt official whom the courts found culpable, have we been able to retrieve the monies due the nation which were stolen in broad day light. What you should realize is that, its only outside corporate bodies and institutions that can do this kind of assessment but not you as a government. This was after Obasanjo openly accused the Ghanian President and his government of financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign. He also accused President Mahama of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa.

It took the intervention of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room to prevent a bigger episode.

The forum, which held from 1st to 2nd December was attended by African Heads of States including; Peter Mutharika President Republic of Malawi, Matata Ponyo Mapon, Prime Minister Democratic Republic of Congo, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf PresidentRepublic of Liberia, H.E. Thomas Boni Yayi President Republic of Benin, John Dramani Mahama, PresidentRepublic of Ghana, H. E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, PresidentRepublic of Uganda and H.E. Charles Gaëtan Xavier-Luc Duval, Deputy Prime-Minister Republic of Mauritius. Ministers, Private equity firms and investors were present to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

When you look for any negative things in you from the mirror, you see your right hand as left hand and vice-versa. This must tell you that what you see as always right isn't right. The mirror may also tell you that you may have turned your dress the other way round, thus,(inside-out). Many are not just "critics" as you may refer to them when they say the facts about you. Sometimes,it's hard to admit when you self-praise. But as a wise person, you need to examine and question yourself, "Why are they referring to my "Right" as "Wrong"?
