Nkrumah sowed the seeds of violence in our politics and used it to eliminate his political opponents and enable him create a one party state and make himself president for life because; he was a communist dictator. Nkrumah was already a comrade and communist disciple before he arrived from London. And as we all know, communists don't have a place for opposition in their system and they don't share power too. He, therefore, used the multiparty system as a step to ascend to power and turned around to demolish it step by step to prevent others from getting there dictatorially.

Our recent political history would explain what I have just said above. When Rawlings usurped power from Liman and lunched his Cuban-Style Communist Dictatorship, there were always attempted coups and rumours of coups until he reinstated multiparty system and some semblance of democracy in the country. In a multiparty democracy and rule of law, the opposition and all stakeholders wait patiently for their turn to take power democratically. That is, if it is believed and confirmed that the incumbent is not using his position cunningly and unjustifiably to prevent them from coming to power democratically.

Therefore, democracy and the rule of law are the only guarantors of peace and preventers of political violence and not PDA.

Nkrumah, by his standards was good so long as he was constructed by British rule. He was no good when the British left. Yet Akosombo was built without a penny being wasted. Check on it! Is there any better example of good leadership than Nkrumah's? If there is anything to do, It is for Africans to fight for their sovereign right to manage their fiscal and monetary policy the way they want it rather blame the victim. The so-called Prof should be innovative enough to come up with African approaches to management, instead of boring us with his half-baked rehash of management theories from American universities. If he says our leaders steal.money, is he implying Nkrumah did so, and if so, what is his proof?

Is it intellectual dishonesty or tge fulfilment of the saying that, a prophet is not honoured by his own people. If Nkrumah did not have the kind of opposition that persistently distracted him and caused a lot of disffection for him eventually leading to his overthrow, Nkrumah could have achieved as much as or more than the Asian rulers.
Prof Addei and his Danquah-Busia type of opposition is a destabilising factor in Ghana's political history. Once they are not in power, they believe they must make the country ungovernable.

Honestly, there is no better way in a democratic dispensation to fight corruption than to expose it and use the court process to punish the culprits as being done by the current government. Merely shouting that others are stealing without any evidence being presented to the courts for punitive action is just political propaganda.

GNPC is saying it has paid some monies to some four individuals totally anywhere between 3-5million new Ghana cedis.
The money to all intents and purposes has left the books and coffers of GNPC.
However of the 4 individuals, 2 so far have come out to say, they have not received a single pesewa of the monies, with a member of the GNPC board saying only one has received the dubious money, so effectively, 3 individuals have not received the monies they claim they are entitled to but, although the said amounts have been written off from the books of GNPC in their name.
GNPC thus does not owe the 4 individuals any money as far as their purported claims are concerned. However, the monies have not gotten to the intended recipients as stated by the board member of GNPC. So between the party's where is that money lodging at? Your guess is as good as mine. This is the stealing that is happening in this country, the plain naked stealing of taxpayer funds on a dubious pretext.
