When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

It feels good that we now start to realise the root cause of corruption in our Ghanaian society as Government base infrastructures, ( State Own Corprates And Institutions ) Chiefs and Kings maintaining that demanding and taking cola from their subjects is a matter of culture instead of being the main breeding source of corruption and many other culture mal-practices in our society. I think the answer to this corrupt-anarchy situation in our todays Ghana is to first and most give some sort of education to our indigenous Kings and chiefs so as to learn them how to submit to the rules and laws of Republic Of Ghana, and we should also try to privatise almost all our unproductive over staff Government Corprates including sector of the Police ,the Prisons, Revenue,Customs and Exercises and also try to engage our huge Military personnels into gainful services like construction- building of our roads infrastructure etc etc, I see these as some of the steps that can be applied to eradicate the root cause of corruption in our today Ghanaian society. so let us be bold and stand tall against the fabric of corruption in our Ghanaian society once and for all.

Countries past and present that have witness tremendous socioeconomic gains have natural leaders who are selfless,incorruptible with great empathy for the poor.Very few leaders in this world have passed this litmus test particularly in third world countries and specifically in Africa who badly need such caliber of leaders.Rapid socioeconomic gains in countries like Bolivia,venezuela,Brazil and even Cuba have to do with good socialist leaders who enforce policies in the interest of the majority poor.The hallmark of social justice is when there is equity and fairness in the distribution of resources with strict measures put in place to prevent cheating.In the case of Ghana it is certainly a daunting task because our leaders are the forerunners in the corruption syndicate.Individuals in position of responsibility both in government and civil service are only interested in how they can outsmart the system to amass as much wealth as possible.The corruption network is huge and complex involving high profile public servants and government functionaries who gang up to rid the state of huge sums in millions of ghana cedis for their selves and their families.You only have to look at businesses and properties owned by these crooks to make an inference.We are now in a situation of uncontrolled corruption with impunity informed by overt incompetence,gross irresponsibility,negligence and lack of moral conscience.You certainly cannot fight corruption when you have corrupt leaders both in government and state institutions who condone and connive in it.You cannot fight corruption if you have leaders whose only preoccupation is to short circuit the system to illegally amass wealth for themselves and their immediate families.You cannot fight corruption when corrupt leaders put incompetent hands in position of responsibility to handle important national projects and programmes.You cannot fight corruption if you have corrupt leadership who believe in 'hand go' ,'hand come' business of jobs and contracts for huge kickbacks.You cannot fight corruption when sexual favours not competence, inform important decisions by lustful and morally weak leadership.You cannot fight corruption when state institutions including law enforcing agencies are manipulated and monopolized by government.I have made the argument before that the best socialist leaders sensitive to the plight of the poor particularly in West Africa are nearly all military men and revolutionaries.Talk about Jerry Rawlings,Thomas Sankara and Gen.Buhari himself.They paid huge prices for rising up against corruption.One of President John Mahama's right hand man ,journalist Alhaji Bature admitted Jerry Rawlings fought in vain to cleanse the country of the dreaded canker.What he failed to admit was the stark betrayal Jerry Rawlings suffered in the hands of people he thought were committed and loyal to the course of the revolution in cleansing the country of corruption and thievery.Some of the corrupt NDC gurus still lingering on in this government were wolf in sheep clothing only interested in their personal gains other than the objective or ideology of the NDC as a Social Democratic Party that stand for social justice and equality in the interest of the poor,suffering masses.The corruption machinery is a huge conspiracy and deception that find a way of suppressing or exterminating any opposition to it.The likes of Jerry Rawlings and General Buhari have been lucky to be alive.The Great Thomas Sankara demise is a good example of how the corruption machinery in Africa backed by international conspiracy work to keep Africa perpetually corrupt, impoverished and dependent.The western backed ICC instead of witch hunting great socialists and Pan-africanists like colonel Gadaffi and Laurent Gbagbo should help institute serious anti-graft measures and severely punish African Governments that preside over corruption.The IMF and World Bank should make corruption and fiscal discipline a top priority in its dealings with African Leaders who simply don't care about the poor,deprived and destitute people they rule.Western backed democracy in Africa can only be of true value to the people if transparency and accountability is enforced.In my view democracy go beyond winning a multi-party democratic election certified as peaceful,free and fair.It is about empowering people not using political power to exploit,impoverish and disempower people.

Ghana can begin to fight corruption by firing the corrupt John Mahama-led NDC gov't at the ballot box in 2016, and resolving to end the corruption chain just as the good people of Nigeria resolved to do, by ushering in the Presidency of Muhammudu Buhari.
