The issue is until the last minute, John Mahama had already made up his mind and resolved to ditch Amissah-Arthur because, with him being incompetent and Amissah-Arthur also being incompetent as stated strongly by their own, and also how badly the Ewes had been treated in their unholy alliance of the Ewe-Fanti-Gonja caucuses, the dual load of incompetence at the Presidency was going to be a very huge load going into the 2016 elections, so Amissah-Arthur was on his way out, until the "trump card" was tendered by the Fante caucus and when that was done, John Mahama had to beat a very quick and hasty retreat because they had him in a vise-like grip and he had no choice than to go along to his doom. As predicted, John Mahama lost the 2016 elections about a month ago. NDC is never going to win the 2016 elections and that is the hard fact. John Mahama and his NDC looters are out.

We all know how he Sir John worked had to instigate the president against his vice just to have him dropped but lie lie.The point is Amissah-Arthur overshadows the NPP's demigod, Bawumia because whatever they say, Amissa-Arthur was a Governor of BoG while Bawumiah only got to Deputy Governor, that will not change. Sir John was hoping the vice-president would be dropped so they can portray Bawumiah as an Economics whizz kid. Mahama is smarter thanks that.
