Pratt is wrong on all counts. He offers no evidence to claims about African culture. Science disproves the stories of Adam and Eve and Sodom and Gomorrah. Evolution of humans occurred in East Africa over a million years ago and diverse sexuality has been part of God's laws of nature all that time. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because mud brick houses were built on a fault line when a powerful earthquake hit. The story of Lot is a lie. How could his wife turn to salt? Why would anyone from those towns try to copulate with mythical angels? It is obviously a fictional story to explain earthquake devastation.

Jesus embraces GLBT Africans because he defends the persecuted from those who incite hate in his father's name. Shame on your false preaching. Repent before it's too late. You should be cast out of the Methodist church for your hate speeches.

There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

If there is unemployment in Ghana, it is not the work of the Bishop. He is a leader of a church and talking about what the direction of that church will be under his leadership. The Methodist church is not a business entity to create jobs, neither is it government to formulate policies for jobs creation. The message was meant for only Ghanaian Methodists, and we are happy about it. If you are gay, nobody cares about it. Keep doing what you love doing but don't bring it into our church because we will not recognise it. Period

Go ask the 16 year old student that was infected with HIV by the medical doctor in Takoradi. Ask those men who walk about wearing penpass because the have leaking anuses as a result of gay sex. Homosexuality is an abnormality. They need help to get out of it and if calling it sinful will make them repent so be it.

These same leaders know their own colleagues who are into such behaviors. Who are they fooling. Alas any educated & wise person can always see them just following. There's infidelity that's breaking marriages, corruption that's killing the economy, domestic abuse affesting child morality, etc, etc, & they always have to bash homosexuality,. These peolpe aren't even men of God, just in a convenient position to talk rubbish. How does inciting hate against a section of Ghanaians help the rest who according to church leaders are the innocent ones. Who in God's eyes is innocent, not even you!

About two years ago the conduct of a foolish police commissioner who fellowships with the above mentioned division of Methodist was reported to him for his intervention and resolution but he vehemently refused to attend to the needs of the Ghanaian and he also shielded the idiot police commissioner because he felt the police commissioner is untouchable. These are the issues you should prioritize before tackling homosexuality.
