Nana Addo's father never won anything in his entire life. He had to persuade General Afrifa and Busia to coin something into the second republic constitution to appoint him Ceremonial President before he goes to his grave.

The same will befall his son Nana Addo. However, age is not on Nana Addo's side to be alive in 30 years time when the NPP comes to power to give him a similar appointment.

It is important to note that all the tensions in the NPP emanate from Nana's insistence to maintain Bawumia as his running for a third time. Over-ambitious politicians are afraid Bawumia might become the putative successor of Nana are creating problems to serve their own rather than party or even the larger national interest. By sticking with Bawumia bcos of demonstrable technocratic competence in economic management, Nana has made a clear statement of how he intends to govern.

In contrast, your incompetent Mahama is putting square pegs in round holes purely for electoral gain. That, my friend, is why Mahama is failing the economy

President John Mahama (Opposition Leader Nana Addo) is clueless about how to solve Ghana’s (NPP's) problem, a situation that underscores his incompetence, the flagbearer of the biggest opposition (ruling) party has said.

“The hardships (confusion) Ghanaians (NPP members) facing are a result of bad leadership,” Nana Akufo-Addo (JDM) said at a rally held at Boadum Park in Asankragwa, on Sunday, to crown the New Patriotic Party’s campaign ahead of the December 15 by-election.

“Our )flagbearer)president, clearly, has no clue and has shown that he is incompetent. The (NPP disciplinary committee) president says we shouldn’t say so, but we will continue to say so, because that is the reality. He and his (family and friends) government are the reasons why there is so much (heartbreak) suffering in (NPP) Ghana at the moment,” Mr Akufo-Addo (JDM) added.
