Even students who will be the future leaders, administrators, managers, etc, are "learning corruption" as part of their unofficial course structure or outline. The Whole Ghanaian society is rotten to the core. Until there is a Complete mental and psychological overhaul, as well as attitudinal and Cultural change no amount of Money, Foreign aid, loans, Natural Resources proceeds or windfall, etc, can be put into any good use for we are rotten to the mind.

I believe you are giving this act of Latifa a divine polish by branding it CORRUPTION. This in my view is stealing, defrauding by false pretence. Stealing has become the order of the day because of what those at the top do. It has almost become like a contest as to who can steal most. If we go to school and send our kids to school to become future leaders, and this is the character our peers want us to emulate, then God save mother Ghana.

Unless the figure of GHC80,000 was meant to be 8,000, the report cannot be true. Even if each student gave her 2,000 to pay into the bank on their behalf, that would be 40 students. For how long has this been going on, that both students and school authorities did not notice this simple dishonesty? Were students not checking from the finance office whether the money given to Latifa to pay their fess through the bank had reflected on the bank accounts of school and if not why did the students not act to find out what was happening? Did the school not ask the students why have they not paid the required fees?

From this, it is very clear that the Ghanaian incompetency and lack of due diligence starts early in life. This fraud could have been nicked in the bud had both students and school authorities been vigilant. I do not have sympathy for the students for being careless.

If the nearest bank is too far from the school, why can't the bank open a mini branch on the school's campus where at least once a month, an official of the bank could go the college to provide banking services and save the students the trouble of travelling to the branch office to pay their fees or transact business?

They may all be fraudster Latifa was the leader. Don't be supriced as teachers are using fake certifications to teach. Not to talk about Some Pastor.
