The coach should be smart enough to know that the prayers have rebelled against him. He needs to sack all of them and recruit new players. The attitudes of the players clearly show that they will never win any match in the league. They play differently in the championship games but are not interested to win a game in the league. Fire them all.

I strongly suspect that the signing of Fabregas, Diego Costa and Courtois have something to do with the passive performance of the Chelsea Squad.

Hazard has long been pin-pointed as playing below standard because he disapproved of some of those signings. Diego Costa's attitude has been cited as most uninspiring while his performance has been less than average. Fabregas is believed to have hit his plateau in Real Madrid, and heading down south in performance when Mounrinho brought him to Chelsea with him.

Rather interestingly, almost all the players the Chelsea Management let go have been proving much more resourceful for their current teams: Lukaku, De Bruyner, Moses, Sturridge, David Louis, Andre Schurrle, have all been at their peak performance with their respective current teams.

Chelsea does not seem to have a regime of nurturing players to maturity from within. Hence, when their big purse goes hunting, it brings home players who are just a shade better than average to deny those who were already in the team, and needed to be inspired more and paid better, the chance to excel. Then, the old guards feel overlooked and produce even less.

The team has only one last chance during the break to recruit and trade for better ranking, or it would hug relegation.
