  Another NDC fool who refuses to use his head. The EO Group did a consulting job for Kosmos. Instead of being paid in cash, they negotiated a small share of Kosmos' interest if they struck oil. If anyone should be complaining about the deal, it should be Kosmos, not Ghana, because it was part of Kosmos' interest in the oil find that had to be given away to the EO Group. Unfortunately, the NDC government, foolish in all things, hounded the EO Group until they decided to sell their interest to the Anglo-American operators of the Jubilee Field. What this meant was that it left Ghana with no local private interest in the field beyond GNPC's carrying interests, royalties and taxes (which have been exempted for a period). At the same time, the same NDC government went about preaching local content. In other words, their local content policy must only favour NDC and Mahama cronies. So stupid!

  Btw, in case you didn't know, in the late 1990s our external donors cut back aid to Ghana because of corruption in government. Guess when they did it again. During the return of the NDC from 2009, especially under the Mahama presidency.
  
  Also, note that during Kufuor's administration he himself submitted himself to investigation by CHRAJ when Alban Bagbin dragged before CHRAJ over expenditures on security installations in his private house. Anane and co were interdicted and investigated by CHRAJ. Indeed, Anane was found guilty on aspects of his conduct by CHRAJ. But he went to court to challenge CHRAJ findings.
  
  Tell me when was the last time CHRAJ was allowed to investigate any government official under Mills. Instead, the NDC has adopted this stupid trend of setting up commissions of enquiry to whitewash corruption in government ministries and agencies. Stop being a fool and think about Ghana for once!

Kwaku Mensah, Crystal Concepts' boss showed a lack of negotiating skills when he was low balled into accepting the offer of 100 cedis for a job that cost more than that amount. He got easily have turned down the contract if it was belwo his cost estimates. As a typical Ghanaian he is now crying foul. As always, Ghanaians are so jaded that they view any government project throw the lens of corrupt. Nothing will come out this public outcry of corruption by the government, because there's nothing criminal about over paying a contract, provided that is not done to defraud the government.
