NDC propaganda machinery tell us all Ghanaians are corrupt and born so but i beg to differ.When we take tro tro or a taxi there is no ndc foot soldier there to try make us pay a bribe before we can get in ,when i go and buy kenkey or even roasted plantain kofi brokeman there is no need to bribe anyone , no one needs to bribe the farmer,fisherman,market woman, teachers or private businessmen to do their jobs or render services.The moment i come close to anything where the ndc has a foot hold then the agony anguish and frustrations start as they demand bribes or foolish payments especially when they find out i am Akan.I notice that the modus operandi of crime,discrimination,injustices,prejudice,tribalism,hegemony,cruelty,buga buga bullying and corruption always has one common denominating factor and that is NDC membership. It appears to me that Mahama is rather fighting corruption that is why all these things are coming out and each of them though embarrasing to the government they investigate, prosecute, retrieve etc. It looks like Ghanaians dont like due process they will prefer to go back to Revolution era where Jerry J would have lined up people and kill when allegations came up. Many alleged corrupt activities were reported during 8 year rule of NPP was there any oivestigations conducted? The media and indeed Ghanaians seemed to have accepted Pres. Suddenly, ndc people start talking from a different side of their mouth. The same thing happened with Woyome case. Ndc defended it. Then Martin Amidu took the matter to court. As the court reports suggested Woyome was going to lose, NDC suddenly changed its tune and started calling the Woyome case a mistake.

Btw, the court asked the AG to retrieve the money. After a year, has Woyome paid a dime? In the SADA and other cases, several companies and individuals were asked to refund millions of cedis to the state. After more than a year, has the AG retrieved the money? Now, AG has again been instructed to retrieve another wrongful payment? I see that going to happen and when?

Surprisingly, those who support this government don't learn lessons. They still support the looting brigade in these forums. Do benefit from this looting of state resources? Do you think of your children's future?

It was in the same ministry that Dr. Richard Anane became a minister of Transport, Roads and Highways in 2003-2006. And his embezzlement and corruption practices superseded everything in the NPP regime and he was never sacked nor resigned.

Further from the AUDITOR-GENERAL's REPORT 2005;

1. Under the Ministry of Transportation where Richard Anane was Minister, the Department of Urban Roads in Kumasi failed to present for audit, vouchers for payments totalling 13 billion old cedis that they claimed they made to contractors. The propriety of the payments could therefore not be ascertained.

2.Under the same Richard Anane, Ghana Highways Authority in Accra paid mobilization allowances amounting to 13.1 billion old cedis to various Ghanaians to undertake jobs for the Government, which were not done. Contrary to the rules they had not been recovered as at end of December 2005.

3.Under Richard Anane again, a contract amounting to 10.96 billion old cedis was varied to 12.78 billion old cedis without going through the Central Tender Board.

What is more corrupt,wrecking, embezzling and damning than such a regime of looters that condoned and connived with these atrocious acts?

in Ghanaian politics been peddle buy NPP guys.In fact had Mills done what he was supposed to have done, a lot of corruption would have been uncovered under 8year rule of Kuffor and his NPP. Gabby and his guys are equally not fit to rule Ghana. Used buses bought as new buses,inflated stadium construction cost, erection of useless posters about Ghana @50 and other hiding corrupt expenditures are fresh in our minds - remember Akuffo Addo was part of the team then.
