  western nations with higher gdps pay less bonuses to their players. yet, gh has all these negatives infrastructure projects n yet we pay these good for nothing players exorbitant sums of money? hey...?????? 5rand for win, 2500for draw, 500 for loss. this must be in the contract for each game. even if its a mere friendly n the gh team draws. give then 2500....our soccer infrastrs are woeful. fix those

  These players need to get a grip and understand that the economic conditions in Ghana are quite tough for the majority of people and they should not be seen as fleecing the ordinary people. Food, shelter and clothing are becoming an issue day by day and the earlier they understood this the better for Ghanaians. Life in Ghana is not only about their shiny cars and opulent mansions.

A paltry, thank you amount should be reasonable & not the huge sums they are demanding

That is where the "mathematicians" use their dexterity in in siphoning some of the money into their accounts.Forget about exposure.A lot of our players are playing outside Ghana without first playing for our national teams.If you don't pay them well they will let you down.Akpe siaa.

  The problems are interconnected. If there is accountability, there wouldn't be problems . We therefore need a wholistic approach to addressing the issue. Players paid a reasonable amount, proper accountability by independent bodies , oversight committees etc etc . A case on point is the Brazil saga where officials took along wives , daughters, girlfriends all the the expense of GFA. How are contracts awarded? Who gets the contract? All such info should be available for public consumption. Transparency is the key here.
