There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

From his demeanour, family background, utterances, actions and inactions it is becoming more obvious who Nana Addo Dankwa Akkufo Addo aka “Odikro of no town” whose futile and nonsensical evidence presented to the great court of the land, champion by his “HIP POP LIAR Political Economist” Dr. Bawumia to deprive millions of Ghanaians a true choice is gradually becoming known to all.

It was by his actions that sent a grey signal to stakeholders of this country and scared majority of businesses especially the multi nationals and some local entrepreneurs to withhold their vibrant activities due to widespread of war mongering and collateral damage meted out to life and properties (especially when one considers the serial market burnings) which was looming in the country all because Nana Addo and his men have lost an election and they are simply refusing to accept defeat; when it was very glare that they have lost.

His great grandfather (JB Danquah) did same to Nkrumah and his father ( Edward Akkufo Addo) followed the same traits, who was later imprisoned and now it is Nana Addo’s turn .

He is leading a campaign of indiscipline and has so far portrayed no decency in mannerism, character or in speech. His proverbial ill character in the use of vile words against his opponents is very abhorring and anti-social. His public speeches are out of date and have no connection with current trends of social developments. .

Unfortunately he is deep into it there is something wrong with the chemical constituents that form the brain of these Dankwas/ Busia’s? Are there no wise men among them? Or did their fathers die with all the sense that will guide them today? Well a decorated monkey remains a monkey; like father like son. None have morals…….KWASEATO LIKE THAT !!!!

Accra (AFP) - Ghana's transport minister resigned Wednesday after a controversy erupted following reports she spent about one million dollars to repaint over 100 buses with portraits of the country's recent leaders.

Dzifa Attivor had commissioned a private firm to respray 116 imported passenger busses with the faces of the West African country's past leaders and current president John Mahama.

But the seemingly innocuous branding exercise became a rallying point for the opposition party and anti-corruption campaigners, who used the issue to criticise the ruling party's economic management of the country.

Attivor's resignation is the first in many years for Ghana and comes after citizens filed a court action against the government demanding details of the bus contract.

The contract "did not ensure value for money," said Ghana's government after reviewing the bus painting deal and called for a reimbursement of some of the money.

Ghana's economic growth has stalled in the face of tanking commodity prices, with the ruling party coming under fire for wasteful spending in the run up to presidential and parliamentary elections next year.

Earlier this week, President Mahama banned first class travel for public officials, warning them to avoid "unwarranted" trips.

The country was forced to look to the IMF for emergency loans to help bolster its ailing economy, struggling to change its fortunes amid a power crisis.

As part of the agreement with the IMF, Ghana's authorities pledged to rein in spending.

Nana Addo has taken bribe from John Mahama to make sure NPP lose the 2016 elections. In Political parties we all know they have regional and national executives which is very important to win the national elections.
Those gaps or those suspended we elected to do whatever they can to bring the party to power. Why should we pay and elect our National Executives and a fool like Nana Addo dont want to work with them.
Why is Nana Addo thinking our choice of executives are wrong. This is a man who had the wrong executive who failed twice in general elections. Nana Addo is a thief and covering up thieves in the NPP. Why should Nana Addo want to spend our party money without our chosen National Chairman knowing? We as NPP members want to know ALL the finances of our party to be able to stop corruption. You can NOT take money from any party account without the Chairman knowing. It is only in NPP but any other party.
Suspending Paul Afoko for questioning the party accounts is completing wrong in every aspect of the party constitution.

It is therefore without basis to think that the 2016 election will be any different from the previous six. The media has covered all the previous elections fairly and there is going to be nothing new in 2016.
In fact, the contribution of the media, both local and international, to free and fair election in Ghana is well known. With their network of reporters at the polling stations, they virtually parallel the Electoral Commission in compiling election results. They would therefore be the first to sound alarm if there were any cheating by the EC. That is why it is strange for any party to claim being cheated when the hordes of media and other election observers report that an election was free and fair. That is how the intolerance of Akufo Addo and his NPP was exposed in their 2012 petition. One hopes that the country will not be bogged down with another useless petition from Akufo Addo after the 2016 election.

He should find a way of paying for all his debts as a result of selfish ambition to be a president and stop banking his hopes on presidential ambitions to pay off his debts. I question the motivation of anyone who insists on becoming President after being rejected at the ballot-box, not once, but twice. Here is the deal: if I thought I was the best there ever was to lead the nation out of its morass and manage the economy, and lift it up from the doldrums that it is mired in, and presented my candidacy to the electorate and lost, I would walk away knowing the loss was Ghana's. It's all about power and the ability to dole out largess to party faithfuls and cronies. How I wish, miraculously, someone other than Akufo-Addo or Mahama would become the next President.
Akuffo-Addo proposes to do a million and one things to uplift the country, and yet he could not persuade the Kuffour administration of which he was an integral part to enact those policies. If he had presented those policies then and had them rejected, he could have publicly resigned if he felt so strongly. He would be credible now. But, he did not. So who is he trying to fool?
