This selfish greedy corrupt minister is only a symptom of this criminal mafia full of anti Akan prejudice and hate. We pointed out last year that all their projects were burdened or tainted by immoral corrupt selfish greedy appetites of the ndc and the kleptomaniac brothers of pepeni omanhene. If these projects ever make it to parliament or the president they are normally half baked very flawed or contaminated as the monies that should have been invested in the project development were spent buying favor or bribing ndc foot-soldiers , bureaucrats , technocrats etc into compliance. Now pepeni realizes he has less than 2 months to actual start something spectacular that if it doesn't win him the elections at least secure him a sizable strong opposition. If there in no success story then NDC will be rejected en mass by the people and fall to 10% of support which will mean that party will never again be entrusted with the helm of government. Most ministers will end up in jail or exiled if there is a peaceful transition , if they cause war almost all of them and their families will die horrible deaths in the imminent cutlass revolution .

There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

News about Dzifa Attivors thievery has gone international. Read about how the international media reported it and the global comments that followed.

Accra (AFP) - Ghana's transport minister resigned Wednesday after a controversy erupted following reports she spent about one million dollars to repaint over 100 buses with portraits of the country's recent leaders.

Dzifa Attivor had commissioned a private firm to respray 116 imported passenger busses with the faces of the West African country's past leaders and current president John Mahama.

But the seemingly innocuous branding exercise became a rallying point for the opposition party and anti-corruption campaigners, who used the issue to criticise the ruling party's economic management of the country.

Attivor's resignation is the first in many years for Ghana and comes after citizens filed a court action against the government demanding details of the bus contract.

The contract "did not ensure value for money," said Ghana's government after reviewing the bus painting deal and called for a reimbursement of some of the money.

Ghana's economic growth has stalled in the face of tanking commodity prices, with the ruling party coming under fire for wasteful spending in the run up to presidential and parliamentary elections next year.

Earlier this week, President Mahama banned first class travel for public officials, warning them to avoid "unwarranted" trips.

The country was forced to look to the IMF for emergency loans to help bolster its ailing economy, struggling to change its fortunes amid a power crisis.

As part of the agreement with the IMF, Ghana's authorities pledged to rein in spending.

Corruption in Ghana and Africa is part of life and understood by many Ghanaians and Africans as normal. This is tip of the iceberg, if you have to dig through people in government civil servants and law enforcement agencies, you might have to put all of them in jail. I remember I was in Ghana in 2009 driving unlicensed car in the night, I was able to bribe my way out with three can tunas after I was pull over by the Police. Everyone wants you to pay bribe to get things done. So sad it's happening

In 2013 I said a prayer asking God to avenge the deaths of any poor person or child who could not access medical care in Ghana as a result of theft and fraud perpetrated by any NHIA staff. God truly answers prayers.

Isn't it funny the Chief looter feels threatened the sub-looter wants to dethrone him to assume the mantle of looting in their party?
Who doesn't know Sly Mensah through looting and stratospheric incompetence had collapsed the NHIS, who doesn't know this?
Who doesn't also know through this same stratospheric incompetence, he Sly Mensah was used, as has been the case of most of them, to fill and bastardize the electoral register and rendering it bloated and lacking credibility, using the NHIS cards, which was subsequently rendered null and void by the Supreme Court?
Or Sly Mensah has threatened to spill the beans and thus, the unleashing of the Woyongo's boys at the BNI to go after him?
Whether the Chief looter puts you in the can or not, one thing is for certain, you were used just as most of your colleagues were used and continue to be used, Dzifa Aku being the recent casualty.

Wait a minute! I can't believe this .Did seven heavily armed BNI officials went to Mr.Mensah's residence on New Year's eve? For What? Why should they wait until the evening? What were they doing during the day time? Did they actually threatened to shoot the dog? This is an action which warrants criminal charges against the officers. Animal Cruelty and attempting to kill an animal for no justified cause. For what should as much seven armed men go to one person's house to arrest him?Did Mr.Mensah ever refused to honour any invitation from the BNI ?I'm not in favour of mismanagement, misappropriation or stealing by Public Officials but I think the Civil and Human Rights of Citizens must be respected and protected by all no matter the circumstances. This is somebody who has respect for rule of Law and authority and as such was prepared to turn himself in so for what should Security Persnnels go to his house in the evening. Mr.Mensah, I think you also has a case to make even if you are found guilty in whatever happened at the NHIA. Investigations are not done through intimidations and threat. The revolution era is past and gone.
