The best approach is to solve the various accident sources from their sources:
1. Stop blind or partially blind drivers from sitting behind the wheels in Ghana,
2. Stop selling drivers licences to undeserved drivers,
3. Mandatory car mantenance service requirements,
4. And many more control measures
Otherwise these annual road safety rituals are a waste.

These road safety measures are commonplace elsewhere but not in Ghana. Ghana is a lawless country where the collective attitude towards most issues borders on insanity. Insanity is when you do the same thing over and over (non-implementation and/or observance of road safety measures) and expect a different result ( safe motoring), to quote Einstein. A nation of jokers, with due respect to the sensible few.
