This is very unprofessional. The The IGP should quickly order an investigation into the incident. Committing a traffic offence doesn't warrant his being killed.

There are times when police behaviour is deplorable and must be condemned, but when people's foolish actions trigger their own demise, they alone must be held responsible for their foolishness.

I support the police action in this instance because in the real world, tight security is the order of day.
