Workers are going to demand for increase in salaries. Then don't blame the poor Ghanaian workers who can hardly make ends meet when they also demand for an increase in wages.

I wish the government could cut down on the lavish living of ministers and MPs to reduce public expenditure instead of burdening us with taxes. There should a pool of vehicles in each region for ministers and MPs to use. No minister or MP should be assigned individual vehicles. God save Ghana!!!

If you keep piling on, on folks who are stretched so thin, there comes a time when there can bear it no more. Avedzi must stop being insensitive to the tax burden on the people. When it becomes unbearable, they will take short cut to make ends meet. They will engage in all kinds of illegalities, including CORRUPTION, to take care of themselves and their families.

I hate to be so blunt but it comes to a point when we need to say of like it is and let the chips fall where they may.

I don't believe NPP is any better, they are even worst, but I will not presume that this MP is sensitive to the plight of the people. These kinds of wacko talk is disrespectful to the people ans cast the likes of that Avedzi guy as insensitive and out of touch with what the vast majority of Ghanaians are facing day in day out.

Empathise with the people. Tell them you feel their pain. Let them know that yes it is a painful thing to burden them will all these taxes but we have to do this to enhance our tax revenue so that we can continue to provide more and improved social services to you. Instead, what do we see? We get insulted for carrying a burden for the state.

Avedzi must bow his head in shame. When politicians become arrogant and disrespectful, their ruling government gets punished at the pool. We in the NDC and our leaders need to be aware of these things. He who thinks he is standing on a firm ground must take heed.
