I can tell you on authority that they were not hand picked. They wrote exam, went through interview.

This is the first time ever that prospective judges had to go through finger printing for criminal record at police headquarters. Let us stop playing politics with everything in Ghana. The insults is just too much.

I personally don't think Ghanaian leaders are ready to fight against corruption yet, this case about the corrupt judges should have been the break through for the nation rather than back and forth useless topics of comments that doesn't really make sense, in the first place apart from the fact that the judicial service is playing with the case, doesn't that alone make you feel they are just mockery Ghanaians? Yes they Are, simply as that, what I am expecting the Chief Justice to do is to fasttrack this case to indicate how passionate/ committed she is when it comes to a national issues of such, remand the criminals in cell just like you have been doing to any other criminals, or is it because they are from the judicial services they are above the LAW? It's really a shame that they can only get away with this in Ghana, the crime is bigger than killing a person because they have killed more than one person through their selfish and corrupt judgements, if we all come together to fight corruption the generation after us will forever praise us... It's up to us to decide whichever way we want to go?

I think the appointment of judges should be made more transparent. That is the only way to get corruption out of the system. There are many decent Ghanaians who will be able to offer better services to the country, but may not necessarily be among the cliques from which current judges are chosen from. That must stop as matter of urgency. Fairness and transparency required.
